My question I have a 2021 Malibu rs non Bose and it’s all the same I used ur door harness that you have in your description and they work perfectly But I also have The tweeters to be replaced I wanted to if there is any harnesses for those ?
can you do a video on doing the back doors?
Notice how I received no help at all
Thank you, saved $160
Hey if u can.. can you show me how I would install 6x9s in the rear window
If you have the Factory Bose stereo you will need the specific 6x9 adapter for the rear deck since its not a "perfect/direct drop in" 6x9 size.
is it 6.5 for front and back speakers?
Yes.
Why the crossover if there is already a tweeter and mid speaker from the factory?
How did you remove the factory tweeter? I can't remove mine?
What size is the factory tweeters?
Are the rear door speakers the same size?
I hope someone tell me how much watt for the 6 speakers in malibu ls
Can I drill through the factory tweeter grille on my 2018 Chevy Malibu to flush mount the tweeters?
word like me also ain show nuthing just skipped all past that part
hi i have a 2024 chevy mailbu and i don't have rear window speaker how can i install some
All the wires and brackets were wrong from the links
Are you able to add rear deck speakers to the existing stereo setup even if it's not Bose? I have the upgraded screen w/o the Bose speakers.
I don’t know why not but you’ll have to remove the decking on the inside to mount them on top and also cut away the insulation from the deck and also wire it.

I did that on mine, tapped into the back door speakers worked great
Dude is the new speaker supposed to sound worse than oem? I hooked it up to a house stereo and it sounded amazing. Can the Malibu stock amp not handle good speakers? And if so how do you rectify that? Someone please help me
Maybe the aftermarket speakers you installed require more power. The stock amp can’t power your aftermarket speakers properly.
Why did you put the crossover only up at the tweeter but not before the mid range speaker also?? The signal to the door is a full range frequency and you didn’t filter any going to the midrange door speaker you put in??
The mid range has a passive crossover built onto the magnet, the tweeter does not. Look up the Alpine type S 6.5" speakers and you can see for yourself.
curious if you can just change the doors and leave the pillar tweeters while using the alpines?
I did it on my 2011 Silverado
The factory tweeters are terrible at high volume from the factory. I put Kicker tweeters and what a night a day difference.
2fast4all can you post the link on where you got the kicker piller tweeters idk which one to get
@@raymond593 Crutchfield.com has a Kicker component set
Hello. Im having a hard time popping out the tweeter. Any suggestions? Thank you
Is this the same for a 2016 Impala?
Is this the same for a 2016 Impala?
Could i leave the stock speaker and just swap the door speaker with a nicer 6 1/2 or do i have to buy a component set of speaker and replace the door speaker and the tweeter?
If you have Bose, you may be limited to your options as the amp may have crossovers. If you don’t have Bose, yes you should be able to put a coaxial in the door only.
Are all the bolts 7mm? What is the part number for the harness adapters for a 2018 Chevy Malibu?
would like to know as well, let me know if you find out. also have a 2018 Malibu
Does the wiring harness diagram have the same colors as my 2018 Chevy Malibu?
Just cut the wire and connect the cut wires to a wire adaptor piece that connects to your speaker
I have a 2022 Chevy Malibu lt and I'm thinking about changing my tweeters. What size did you buy? There was no size mentioned in the video.
The tweeters were included with the mid range speakers as a component set. Link in the description to the set we used.

What gauge speaker wire did you use?
What kind of crossover did you use on the tweeter?
Are the brackets necessary?
For a proper fit, yes.
Nice! ☺
What size is the tweeter?
1" Silk Dome Tweeter in a 2" flush mount housing.
@@ProvoBeastAudio So the way you mounted the tweeters was flush mount? I'm new to this.
@@ProvoBeastAudio Is the speaker wire in the doors 16 gauge?
