Hi Ashley, thanks for sharing this tip. I went out and bought some from Home Bargains. What a difference it makes! My mats cleaned up well and the "stickiness" was much improved.

Thank you for the great “hack”! I purchased this product and cleaned my mat! It was fantastic and restored the stickiness ! In fact it came back “stickier” than before 😂😂. Many thanks 👍🏻😍

I bought this a while ago after hearing it mentioned repeatedly but then couldn’t find any info on how they actually used it so thank you as many of the other methods over the years I have found can easily remove the adhesive.
Also being disabled I use silicone liners and metal trays/baskets in my air fryer and got the washing up spray, it’s brilliant

Great tip, never thought of using elbow grease for my mats, I brought it years ago when I read in the daily paper that it was fantastic at getting stains out of clothes

Hi Ashley, when you poured the water over the mat did you use cold or warm water hunni? x

Although I restuck my mat with Zig some time ago, last year I found it was again losing its stick. Out of desperation, I grabbed a bottle of Windex window cleaner ant tried that. It cleaned my mat beautifully and the stick came back. I suspect most any degreasing product will work. I still use Windex because it's what I have on hand.
