Hi Ashley, thanks for sharing this tip. I went out and bought some from Home Bargains. What a difference it makes! My mats cleaned up well and the "stickiness" was much improved.
Thank you for the great “hack”! I purchased this product and cleaned my mat! It was fantastic and restored the stickiness ! In fact it came back “stickier” than before 😂😂. Many thanks 👍🏻😍
I bought this a while ago after hearing it mentioned repeatedly but then couldn’t find any info on how they actually used it so thank you as many of the other methods over the years I have found can easily remove the adhesive. Also being disabled I use silicone liners and metal trays/baskets in my air fryer and got the washing up spray, it’s brilliant
Thank you, thank you, thank you! This is the best Scan n Cut tip I’ve ever gotten! Mats I’d given up on are like new. I’m in North Texas got it through Amazon. Thank you again
Great tip, never thought of using elbow grease for my mats, I brought it years ago when I read in the daily paper that it was fantastic at getting stains out of clothes
Although I restuck my mat with Zig some time ago, last year I found it was again losing its stick. Out of desperation, I grabbed a bottle of Windex window cleaner ant tried that. It cleaned my mat beautifully and the stick came back. I suspect most any degreasing product will work. I still use Windex because it's what I have on hand.

Hi like someone said in another comment, maybe any degreaser type product that you have in your country
Great tip thanks I will try that as my mats have been useless lately.

Works great if they are really grubby leave it on longer maybe 30-60 mins before washing off

Hi Ashley, when you poured the water over the mat did you use cold or warm water hunni? x
Any, just whatever comes out of the tap

Useful tip. Thanks. Have you used it on your Loklik mats too?
Hi no my Loklik mats are too sticky, but I will do when they eventually need doing.
Hi would this be the same as the totally awesome spray do you think hope everybody is well x
Im not sure but if that is a de greaser then it will probably work
The totally awesome is about £30 here so if this works then as u say an easy cheaper way of extending the life of expensive mats thanks x
Wow thats expensive, i would look for another degreaser thats cheaper and try that first
Does this work on Cricut Mats, too?
I dont use a cricut, but i think it should maybe try it on an old mat
It's sold on Amazon £2.29 for xlarge bottle.
Great thank you
Amazon has it
Oh great to know
Good to know thank you
