The biggest tragedy of our community nowadays is that our enemies are on the mimber and they are targeting people with inadequate knowledge and understanding about our Deen.
You are 100% right that we need to learn more about our Deen and educate our youths deep enough so that if anyone attacks or challenges our fundamental beliefs, they should be able to defend themselves..
As I have said countless times before, anyone and everyone wearing a white coat with a stethoscope round their neck is not a doctor. Similarly, anyone and everyone wearing an abaa, kabaa, a turban and beard, running their own hawzas is not a an aleem or a religious scholar.
We are very particular about the kind of food that we consume. The reason being that if we eat the wrong food even by mistake, it's going to cost us our health.
When it comes to our Deen, how many times do we ask ourselves about things like the credibility, qualifications, etc of the person trying to preach us? How many times we get trapped and confused when things alien to our Deen are discussed. These corrupt self-made scholars pick verses from the holy Qur'an and misinterpret them, give references of the books and the scholars never heard of before.
It seems people like KAMUNPOORI have either hit a jackpot of new knowledge and information on Islam which falsifies almost everything we have learnt and taught for centuries. It looks like the birth of a new religion or a new sect, all under the guise of the school of the holy ahlulbayt (a s).
People with shallow knowledge and understanding about Deen fall prey and become misguided. And such people think to themselves that after all these centuries they have discovered the true, original and genuine Islam. The rest are like flock of cattle following blindly.
I think the leaders of our community worldwide need to come together and plan something concrete to safeguard our people against such corrupt self-made scholars. Our ulamas also have a very important role to play in this regard.

    Salaam alaikum
Imam ali as says I fear of my community
THE ONE WHO HAS KNOWLEDGE BUT DOESN'T HAVE FAITH
THE ONE WHO HAS FAITH BUT DOESN'T HAVE KNOWLEDGE
    MEANS
    KNOWLEDGE AND FAITH TOGETHER

The truth is based on the evidence presented and its reliability and that is what I have struggled with as an academic scholar. The problem arises when the public for a long time is made to believe certain things based on evidence, in Islam, it is based on historical evidence, that is either false or partially true. The question is should the truth be told or not for the fear of unnecessarily confusing the public. I always prefer the truth told by dedicated renowned scholars who have spent a lot of time doing research and they should be supported.

But even the 'qualified' do not have a monopoly on aqeedah. Beliefs have to be worked through by oneself through study and observation and experience surely?
Besides a lot of preachers seem to give priority to peripheral over the essential and their own inferences on these matters. But they should realise that they can have an opinion but they could also be wrong. At the end the hereafter belongs to Allah and his Awliya, the saintly ones, we can only but hope and pray for a better salvation. However it looks like there is going to be a long queue for that 😅!

    Respected Al Hajj ZAK
    Shukran for your kind message.
The Sayyid is very appreciative of the fair and balanced approach you have taken. He has sent you a message of appreciation together with some further explanation and elaboration of certain points you may have missed or misunderstood. He usually doesn't respond to individual Jamaat leaders in this manner, but we sense he senses something unique and different in you that sets you apart from other Jamaat leaders, and perhaps that is why he has engaged with you at such length. We shared your clip on your observations regarding gender segregation in our Jamaat meetings with him, and he really loved it and was full of appreciation for it. We think what he truly admires in you is your no-nonsense and non populist (non people/crowd pleasing) attitude and approach to Deen. That's the kind of leadership he says is needed to keep our communities on the path of the Quran and Ahlul Bayt (as) which he has devoted himself to raising more awareness about and reviving.
Please go to the link below and listen to his message to you in full if and when you can find the time.
The Sayyid has taken out quite a good amount of time from his otherwise busy schedule to address you and our communities and appreciate you for your work as well as give you sincere Naseeha for the way forward. We think you and our community both owe it to themselves to at least hear him out and listen to him in full, and then it's totally up to you to chart your way forward however you deem fit. In any case, without further ado, here is the link we present you with Salaams, Duas and best wishes:
