My best friends brother had a KW very similar to this one , reminds me of the days of hauling hogs and Christmas trees in the winter. His had a 3406 caterpillar though. Thanks Wiley for bringing good memories back for everyone!

These beautiful trucks bring me back to the days of old thumping up and down the road with my pops. Great to see it move again. Thank you for jogging up so many great memories of days gone by. She sounds like she wants to work again and get back on the road after her long slumber! I know him pulling her away from that spot in the yard was a great memory of the years he spent behind the wheel and good for you for making it happen not only for him but for his kids too. This truck is the reason I subscribed to your channel those k100s are what started my love of trucks. Thanks for doing stuff like this for thes Old fellas to relive their good memories before they are to old to have the ability to climb up in and move the world again. This is Americana to me. Keep up the good work and I'll see you on the next one.

I Ran GMC Forward/ Isuzu COEs for years in my business box tucks. 6000s and 7000s a woman could lift the cab no jack needed. I know weren't near as heavy as a kw or Freightliner. But still a big Chunk of cab. They were balanced or something. Super easy to tilt. I loved them i kept a 1987 6000 250k runs great never had head off nothing internal and i had multiple people driving them. 5 sp wind that sucker like a Detroit 6V71. Built when stuff was made to last no computer junk. Hardly any wires under cab clean and simple.

The old kw was hard to start but once it was going ran fairly well.
Don’t really understand what the owner wants to do with the old kw.
Needs a lot of TLC and I believe mechanical work.
