What a classy restoration, No 300" chassis-stretch, lowered front-end, absurd drop visor covering half the windshield or other stupid gimmicks....just classic old school trucking specs. Call me an old stick-in-the mud but I LOVE this truck.
Drove a k100 big bunk flat top back in 1996 , it drove like a.car hauling cattle from virginia to the midwest feeder lots , longer wb and the same motor 425 b model cat 13 spd trans , fond memories of that box pushing a hole in the wind , fuel 60 cent, , the good times are dust in the wind , gone .
This is one of the most beautiful K100s I’ve ever seen. If this were mine,I’d like to purchase a car hauler trailer from TFX to shuttle my fleet of Corvettes around.
Embarrassed by the price so we know it’s ridiculous just like guys that build hot rods … Park it in the barn grandpa and the grandkids will sell it immediately after the funeral 😂
Some people feel powerful offering something for sale that they really aren't motivated to sell. Makes em feel important in their old age after friends and family are no longer around. It speaks of folks with whacked out priorities.
Beautiful truck....but I'm sure there is a reason it hasn't sold. Any collector isn't going to pay a ridiculous amount of money for it .. and if someone were to buy it to put it to work.....yeah....it's got the old school cool factor .....but after you drive it for a few hours....you realize it drives like a 40 year old truck 😆
say what? $380K ? What the frack are y’all smokin’ up there? Some really potent sh!t, ‘cause no darn 36 year old USED truck is worth $380K, unless the darn thing is in absolute trophy winning condition inside out, and stretched out with a whole luxury RV body built on it and maybe then I’d consider buying the darn thing for that kind of mullah. Maybe! I don’t care if the darn thing was bought brand new in 1988 and wrapped up in bubble wrap since then and kept in a temperature controlled environment for all of these years with zero miles on the tach, it’s still not worth $380K ! Screw that, keep the junk!
Nice Kenworth! Drove one like it in 88 for 2 yrs running Mtl to Vancouver for TNT Alltrans Express. Owner was the late Maurice Bonniteau. We ran double and his had a Cummins. I’d give him 100k as it’s worth that and no more.
I have a 1918 model 30 Dodge Brothers Roadster. No rust, original paint, wood wheels, etc. I am a retired trucker that has driven all of c/o except Mach. K100 200 is my favorite. If asked, I am willing to tell potential owner what I have invested and possible sale price. ARAGENCE does NOT make a sale. BAD sales skills pushes people way. Materialism is NOT contagious. NO DRIVE, NO START is a time waster for the buyer. Most likely oil analysis would be denied. This could be $50k issue. What are the tire stamp date. This could be $8k issue. Power divider and spider gear wobble could be $5k issue. Frame Cross member rivets wollow could be a do not buy issue. Throwing money without thorough mechanical evaluation would be like marriage to a woman that you have only emailed on line. STUPID IS STUPID DOES!!!!! BAD sales skills to the wise!!!!! Try selling it to a Pacar dealer and the FIRST thing asked is price. Again. Aragence reveals bull butter.
It’s easy to hide a lot of mechanical issues until the new owner has purchased the truck, anyone that buys this truck without a third party look over is a fool!
Anyone who keeps a vehicle in Concourse condition won’t allow something to be wrong with it. It would be kept in 100% working order. Besides that if you buy it from a dealer you get a limited time warranty.
Dont know if that looks like a full resto, or someone who took the most absolute best care of that truck and only had to do minimal work to get back to that. Very impressive.
If the person who is selling it needs to explain it or get a salesman who actual knows more . Also since they are not talking about a price maybe he wants to much or he really doesn’t want to sell it, just show it
Awesome truck!!...the only problem is good luck getting any brokers to book you to pull their freight, and insurance companies will be hard to find to insure you. A truck that old and they wont even give you a second look. Unless you have dedicated freight you can haul you wont make any money working with your standard "common" brokers. If your truck is even older than 10 years old they half the time wont book you on a load. Awesome truck tho....if you pull dedicated freight with long standing customers this would be a great one for you as a independent REAL O/O.

@@Rich-dw9ii Well I would take a new one for the comfort but I'd rather have an old one for reliability and none of this ridiculous emissions BS. However yes you can get a much newer truck than this one for a better deal, no question.

What do you do if your seriously interested in this truck with no price posted. And if I'm assuming you need proof of money availability. Then do you get to test drive it or do you expect someone not to drive it and just take your word. Do you all have a lift or pit to put this truck on so someone can check underneath. If you get tired of waiting with your silly conditions and really want to sell it contact me
As cool as this is at the end of the day it's a truck. I've owned a few cabovers and one being a aerodyne 220 VIT with a 425 Cat and 15spd. Although a awesome ride I can see the only person that would buy this would be a private buyer hauling a RV to the truck shows or a fancy horse hauler. I would buy it but I can tell but the vagueness of this video I could buy a new truck which I wouldn't be that stupid to do at this time. Good luck oh and if it's in that good of condition maybe get with Kenworth to see if they would buy it for there museum.
