  • Z1's VGX800 Turbochargers are the most recent product in our line of complete turbo kits for the 1990+ 300ZX. They offer more performance potential than any other product in our catalog, supporting up to 800hp with the correct supporting modifications. These turbos flow similarly to our GTX2867 kit while maintaining similar response characteristics to the GTX2860, making them a great option for mild to wild cars.

    VGX800's are a 5-bolt, journal-bearing turbo sporting a .60 A/R compressor housing and billet compressor wheel. They feature a custom compressor cover and come pre-clocked, making them a 100% bolt-on turbo with no necessary modifications to the turbo or the car. The kit includes all installation components necessary, including oil lines, gaskets, hardware, and silicone hoses.

    These use brand-new compressor and turbine housings, designed specifically to house the larger compressor and turbine wheels. Inside the compressor housing, you'll find a lightweight billet compressor wheel, helping contribute to their excellent response. We have also employed a 360-degree thrust bearing assembly to further improve the longevity of these turbochargers. The inclusion of a .64 A/R turbine housing provides exceptional response without becoming a restriction at higher power levels. It also maintains great spool characteristics in mild street-driven applications.
    The dyno graph below highlights the efficiency of these turbos, producing 553whp and 535wtq at only 20PSI of boost!

    Still have an NA in my 90 but these are definitely going in my turbo build when the time comes!

    Although I'm very happy with my GT 2863s, had these been available a couple of years ago when I was restoring on my 95, I would have bought these, If for no other reason then to support Z1. No one else is coming out with major component upgrades for the Z32 like Z1 is. I just replaced my Greddy quad tip exhaust, which is still in great shape, with Z1's new, black chrome, quad oval tip Z32 exhaust, and it's beautiful and sounds great. Also, no one else has such a wide availability of OEM parts, many of which Nissan no longer even makes. They must have stocked up on OEM parts when they could. And if they just can't get, or have, the OEM part, they always have a high quality aftermarket alternative instead. A prime example is the exterior trim pieces for the Z32. I was able to replace all my exterior trim with brand new, as good, if not better, quality trim pieces than OEM, and they look beautiful. For these reasons Z1 is the first place I look when I need anything for my Z, even spark plugs. If they have it, which literally they ALWAYS have, I buy it from them. I won't even bother checking other sites looking for a lower price. Thank you Z1, you have no idea how many times I have yelled out a big "YESS" when I see that you have what I thought was going to be hard to find, like the trim. Hell, I may just buy these turbos and sell mine, or just keep them in case mine go south for some reason.

    How do these compare to the gt675rs? In terms of spool up, lag and overall power potential? Im currently looking to buy any day but getting a bit blinded by all the stuff i might need to buy. Like cams and wvwrything to get the best out of them
