    The fume extractor in the background, what are the two nozzles on the Intake that are facing upwards?

    • @MillerWelders
      @MillerWelders  5 лет назад +1

      Thanks for your question. The nozzles in background are the new Zone-Flow modules for the SWX Filtair Systems. They allow for the arm to be up to 5 feet away from the weld.

    How often should u change HEPA filter? Every battery change? That's like every day for us.

    • @MillerWelders
      @MillerWelders  7 дней назад +1

      There are no exact time frames for replacing these filters, as many factors come into play, such as the environment, daily usage, the purpose of use, whether it's indoors or outdoors, and airflow.
      A good rule of thumb is to familiarize yourself with the smell and breathing pattern when using a fresh filter. When you notice a change in smell or find it harder to breathe, it's likely that the filter is becoming full.
      Additionally, the danger alarm can serve as a reliable indicator. If it goes off or lights up due to poor airflow, it suggests that the filter may be full or blocked.

    My work requires everyone to wear a hardhat; will I still be able to use the helmet as intended with a hardhat adapter?

    • @MillerWelders
      @MillerWelders  4 года назад

      Hello Steez. We have two systems that are hard hat capable. Those are the Titanium 9400i with hard hat (259385) or the Titanium 9400 with hard hat (261659): MillerWelds.com/safety/respiratory/powered-air-purifying-respirators-m00482#!/?product-options-title=papr-with-hard-hat-titanium-9400i-helmet-261659. No other paper systems will work with hard hats, this includes the T94 and T94i PAPR systems. Let us know if you have any additional questions.

      Hi Adrien, the T94i and T94 are separate helmets. For more information, check out the product page and spec sheet: millerwelds.com/safety/respiratory/powered-air-purifying-respirators-m00482#!/?product-options-title=papr-with-t94i-r-264575

      You can remove the breathing tube and use the helmet like a normal welding helmet.

      Thanks for your interest! This can run 4-6 hours on high speed, 6-8 hours on low speed. The manufacturer suggested price for the base model of the PAPR with T94i-R is $1,970.00 (US). I have a skull guard hard hat with a halo adapter. I know its a "loose fitting respirator" as the video states but would a hardhat reduce the effectiveness of a t94i-r?

      Thanks for your question. Unfortunately, you cannot use the T94i-R with a hard hat at this time since it uses a PAPR or SAR system. But we'll pass along your feedback to our team!

    Does this keep your body cool

    • @MillerWelders
      @MillerWelders  3 года назад

      Thanks for your question. The PAPR has a 6-point airflow distribution system targets “hot” areas within the face for immediate cooling relief, without causing eye and/or nose irritation.

    Worst weld hood I've ever used. Heavy, and setup time per use make it inefficient for shop work. Wouldn't be bad if you are working every day in an enclosed area or/and welding for long periods per weld. My shop went from personal choice on your hood to mandating these. Otherwise I wouldn't give $20 for this $1500 weld hood. I miss my Speedglass
