Gas cars and appliances might catch on fire, but they are easily extinguished. EV fires cannot be put out with less than 40,000 gallons of water so instead they are left to burn out in a wrecker yard. Also the chance of a gas car catching on fire are way less in this situation. This kind of cope is not going to get you far on the internet
You have 1,072 percent chance less of a battery fire compared to a gasoline fire from a combustion motor hey combustion is in the name. Stop spreading fud
This isn’t a freak accident it’s common sense. That’s why they hve a 15 foot pole to yank off mechanics after they get shocked to death working on the cars when they aren’t wet
So you’re saying your house is flooded with salt water, what’s the big deal if it also catches on fire with a source that’s extremely difficult to extinguish? I’m not sure what an anti-EV agenda is, but it seems like this is important information for EV owners to better understand the risks of their specific type of vehicle, how to mitigate them, and what not to do. This car’s owner knew a hurricane was coming, probably flooding was possible, but may not have understood the risks. I don’t think the answer here is to jack up your air suspension, I suppose that’s a last resort. How about not leaving a $60,000 car in your garage that could risk destroying a multi-hundred thousand dollar+ home not to mention all of one’s belongings?
Youee wrong, water puts out fire unless its a lithium battery they can burn evem under water and takes hours to put out Wites and appliances in your house have breakers so if an electrical prpblem happems the power is shut off read a book learns something
Just an idea, if you had a tough tarpaulin/ heavy duty plastic sheet large enough to drive a car on to, & could wrap it up so to speak, perhaps this would keep it dry preventing water penetration!

Prevention is better than cure
Is this parody? I honestly can’t tell so either Bravo! Or huh? Tf you talking about gas powered cars catching on fire lol.
I can’t tell if this guy pleasures himself to Tesla vehicles, or if it’s just an act
Gas cars CAN start on fire (easy to put out too) EVs WILL catch on fire (way harder to put out too) thats the difference lol
That's completely untrue show me one example of a gasoline vehicle catching on fire because of saltwater flooding! Please prove me wrong!
He can't.
