Very nice video, One question: when mounting the vertical mast and drilling the 4 holes into fibreglass for the base, is there a backing wooden plate inside the boat.Or is it enough the run the bolts through and just tighten the nuts.
Good vid except it doesn’t show a few things that would be helpful, what are the fixings that hold the mast to your boat deck are they self tappers ? How are the brackets on the mast fastened to the stays , wot size of drill bit is he using,where do you get the gland that the cable runs through at base of mast,does the kit come with all the fittings you need to fit , did he use a level to make sure the mast is straight. Other than that it’s ok .lol
