I'm surprised the dark troopers don't have some sort of weakness when it comes to lightsabers based on how easily Luke wiped the floor with them
It's not like they are immune to pierce, Anyone with a lightsaber will be a serious threat to them as is
Sooooo they are pretty much the same resilience as stock Stormtroopers in their plastic covered meat suits ?
Impact and Pierce should tear them apart, and most saber users have that
I don't super agree with force users will there them up. It's still armor so on average they kill about 2 darks. Then they run the risk of getting punched back twice.

Triple Dark Troopers sounds like so much fun!
Yeah dark troopers are pretty crazy. I have seen a lot of lists that run 2 or 3 all with just the assault cannon. The ability to deploy with rapid reinforcements and still get to shoot is pretty good. I definitely think there are a lot of rules and upgrades that will need to be clarified/adjusted to take these into account.
Damn that is gonna be scary. Gonna be interesting to see how the rules change and how it effects these units potentially

Having Entourage: Dark Trooper is almost like having Entourage: AAT. It's nuts. Also, the assault cannon is effectively an Imperial Mk II slotted as a heavy, and without the Fixed Front limitation. I LOVE Dark Troopers, don't get me wrong, but it's going to take a minute for the meta to adapt, if they can.
If they're clustered somewhat, Whistling Birds could be very punishing to Dark Troopers, given that they can't be repaired.
Newish to the game. What does the symbol next to upgrades like Imperial Comms technician mean?
I def wanna run 3 units with the Mini gun and programming. I’m not planning on taking the comms tech until they officially say you can; I don’t wanna build up my hopes for no reason.
I have a feeling we might see all faction specialist upgrade pack cards get errata to be restricted to corps. I am curious on rapid with darks, I would assume you just place 1 face down order token on them, seems very very strong being able to rapid reinforcements in and then still activate.
Cool list. I do think that they rules will eventually not allow for the alternative personal slot. Little too powerful with what is current

i already play via tts agains dark troopers and they are so unbalances, i was with saber with armor pierce isp with missil pods t at rt with laser cannon and they dont die. they are a nonsense

In no world will the comms technician be legal. It’s so obvious that creating this list seems like a waste
