To be honest, many of the outfits you criticised on this episode were not worth criticizing to me. For the first time I was disappointed by this FSS. I’ve seen kiekie’s replies and still disagree. The lady in the green dress is reminiscent of the lady who was supposed to be Eddie Murphy’s wife. The lady in the wine dress was simply stunning. There were really horrendous outfits on the carpet and would have liked you to give us the worst of them except they begged you not to destroy them.(LOL). The Emir is royalty in the North. Therefore if we are to appreciate the traditional patchwork clothing you wore, I dare say the northern couples fit was attuned to the theme of royalty. We also have to consider the geographical location. In some countries, Royalty is tartan quilts and bagpipes. This is my opinion. Tenks. Looking forward to the next episode. I don’t need any reply.
I totally agree with what kiekie said about the lady with the wine dress. NOTE kiekie didn’t say she was not looking stunning. She said that the hairstyle, accessories and the design of the outfit is beautiful but the choice of material was the problem considering the theme of the red carpet. It would have been much better if she used African print or something else but definitely not satin. It’s important to pay attention to details when styling an outfit. The choice of material is very crucial when trying to making a statement. You can’t use silk material and try to represent African theme nah. Of all the materials to use.

Yes, you could wear something similar to Notting Hill carnival but very rarely would it be this detailed and beautiful. In my opinion, one word for her outfit is PERFECTION! She doesn't deserve to be picked up on.
The theme of the red carpet wasnt Zamunda. It was African Royalty! That headpiece isn’t royalty. The tassel detail also isn’t royalty. I see how that Assembly can be African or for Zamunda, but NOT royalty. Thank you

That tiny Ankara Print I mixed is a Royal print in Cotonou . In fact, it’s a coronation fabric. The beads I accessories with is the Iya loja’s (A high female Chief in Yoruba land) formation. Which is 3 neck beads and 8 wrist beads. (I got all these information from OLOYE LEKAN ALABI (the ikerin Of Olubadan in Ibadan Land) who is currently serving as a chief at the Olubadan Palace in Ibadan, Oyo state. ROYALTY also signifies status hence why I picked Ngozi Okonjo Iweala as my inspiration. I’m certain you’re aware of her new status. She inspired the style I tailored the fabric into, the gele style and I modified two of the neck beads design into her style. So to answer what you posed as a sarcastic question, YES! This is what Royalty looks like where I’m from. 🥰 I’ll kindly suggest you avoid making bogus comments on topics You don’t have enough knowledge about. We all learn everyday which is one of the things this show gives me the opportunity to do, keep learning. Outfits were not a shock per se but the design lines did not flow into each other especially the cut of outfit were not up to par with couture or tailoring which is what you should explain!!! Some were overly ostentatious others was fit and finish which could have been done better and Yvonne jegede outfit the problem was the colour of the bow which should have complimented the soft pink of the skirt and not it's inner lining!
