I bought a similar style spoiler for my 2014 civic. I dont quite understand how wiring works, especially for the taillight with the 3rd brake light. I saw that you pushed the wires into the loose connector. You didnt show what you did afterwards? Did you tape it like that or did you do something else? I am not familiar with splicing.
Splicing it into the existing 3rd brake light wire . You basically just cut the sleeving open on the wire and connect the new wires onto them .you can solder or tape and also can just aligator clips which is easier to do
Did you buy the wing from a wrecker, off eBay? This would mean a lot, currently wanting to do something like this for my acura el, looks naked without the wing. The el’s the came as the civic so.

How did you get the wires you spliced to stay inside the connector
Use wire taps or splice the wire and twist it on than tape
