Haunt the same issue.. new rack.. new high pressure. Working on the pump and other line next
I replaced the pump on mine also and it still was giving me issues . Might be a proper procedure to actually bleed the system
Not great. But if i were you i would focus on not crashing ur car so much that u cant keep a bumper on it
Didn’t crash my car 😂 doing a jdm conversion and can’t afford the bumper yet . If I were you I would focus on getting facts straight before typing in the comments 🤷♂️😉
Ur weak
Ur small
Never said I was big 😂🤷♂️
By the way my honda is 1988
Nice video thank you. I'm doing this repair today and opted for the metal housing upgraded version. Looks pretty strait forward! Thanks again!
She so cute
great video thanks
you have he 3.3 L engine, i have the 2009 3.5L engine steam rises from that area of engine when overheats. Any idea what i might find necessary to remove?
Definitely remove the intake and box and do a pressure test through the radiator to see where the coolant is leaking from . Valve cover gasket leaks also can cause the steam from the rear
Wow thanks, I definitely have pressure tester kit. That will definitely point out leak spot(s) where they are. Thinking about it, 3 days before I found my overheating, I had a shop change the starter for me. That is directly in that area if extracted from top side. Im thinking they may have upset things on my vehicle with a million miles on it. Makes sense. Thanks
are those te37 seibon edition? i got them on my fa5 too
I think they were the time attack edition. Yours are more of a grey color mine were black
Great video, thank you. I laughed when you were trying to pronounce the name of it, cuz I couldn’t figure it out either, lol.
Yea all these overseas companies have wild names 😂
One of the best tires I've ever had. Had them on a ek hatch and made it through a blizzard. And a 03 crv which was unstoppable. For the price you can't beat them
Yup such a great tire
Lets go. I started at planet fitness in 2019. After going for about 3 yrs being consistent I joined a local gym. Now im interested in bodybuilding. 😂 Keep going, workout smart, and have fun with your body. No diddy.
Keep up the great work bro and I feel you on that . Working out definitely opens up a whole new world
Shii, atleast the old one moves, when i replaced mines, 1 of the rear you couldn't turn at all
😬
If you take the top loose first then drop the bottom they literally came out no problem instead of struggling so hard with doing the bottom first
So the leak was coming from the water pump gasket? I have the same noise and my coolant leaks fully after a month.I bought my 8th gen si a couple months ago and there was really no maintenance done to it .
There’s a spill hole on the water pump . It’ll leak out from there when it goes bad or the actual pulley itself
@@HustlePaul thanks the replay! I'm going to change it out tomorrow. I bought the same gates water pump.Hopefully it last longer than what yours did.
Thanks for making this video. Helps alot.
Np let me know if you have any questions
Did you have to get a nut for the long bolt on the coils since it's not threaded like the stock strut
How’s the pump been thinking of ordering one ??
Only lasted 29k miles lol I threw another gates one on tho lol but I haven’t really driven my car much. I suggest just getting an oem Honda one
What size is the T connector you replaced in diameter
Link to the part is in the description. Just click on it and it should have parts description on it
Just got me the exact version but bright red with a sparkle gloss , with the chrome trim & black wheels 🔥 The features are peak & the dashboard is top tier ' lane assistant , cruise control , tire pressure gauge , power intake diagnosis , Acceleration Brake & Cruise gauge etc ! The hybrid features which helps with gas , battery life , power etc ! The gas mileage is amazing over 450mpg full tank Heat warmer for steering wheel Heat warmer for seats but also cooler for the seats which I never seen a cooler option in a vehicle under $50k I just hate the carpet seats but i ordered rubber mates off the Ford website specifically for this version which is worth it 💯👌
Definitely a great daily car
Thanks for sharing. I have a 2005 sienna and plan on changing those 2 tees in the back as a precaution. Are the tees the same size? If so, I plan on buying the metal one you bought. Please let me know. Thank you again.
Yes they’re the same size link is in the description
Thanks for the instructions.
i know it’s been 5 years , but how are they holding up so long ? looking intact still the boots ? or leaking grease just wanna get a perspective on maintenance wise how long do they last and know kinda when to maintenance it
online shopping doesnt have tachometer where do you buy it?
8th gen all day
Dammm your uncle finally sold it to you because it was already messing up 😂
Yup those are the best because you get them at good price and easy fix 😂
People aren’t realizing this audio isint actually him😂
Thank you these people just like to be mad 😂
did it put coolant in your oil? When it was bad?
No it shouldn’t and if there’s coolant in your oil you could possibly have a head gasket leak
Look at the pressure you putting on the axle during removal.😢 And there should have been a strut mount bot that the top which is whe the spring and strut came out but not the mount.
Yea that was my bad 🤦♂️
Year and how many miles?
260k miles
I got a 4 door one I build it nicely
Starting to get a faint sound like this, thinking of getting the parts for the job before it completely blows. What parts do you recommend? I wanna go OEM to make sure I don’t have to get this done again
Oem is best my gates water pump only lasted 29k miles
@@HustlePaul how much coolant did you need to top it off? Also how long did you let the noise go on for until it started leaking?
@@slowcarboireally depends how much you’re leaking. I probably leak half a gallon every few hundred miles so I top it off after like 500 miles. I need to do this asap cause coolant aint cheap 😭
owner of the trailer park or dealer😂
You got 1 of 2 things right. It is not nice but it is indeed a car lol.
Or a visitor.
He is buying his drugs there
lol or probably the plug 😂
How many cans did you use?
2 and a half
As a tech, this is a great idea if you need to reuse the rotor, however id keep a misc bolt around for that, i wouldn't use a bolt such as the slide pin bolt as that is pretty important if you want to put your brakes back together. Plus if you replacing the rotors just use a hammer, its fast and easy.
Yes I should’ve mentioned getting an extra bolt before hand . And definitely not a slide pin bolt it’s just a simple bracket bolt 😂👌
Works great until you strip out your bolt & and can’t put your calipers back on 💯💯💯
Not a caliper bolt it’s just a simple 12mm for the brake line bracket. Get one from Honda or the junkyard before hand 👌 the holes are there for a reason 🤷♂️
Sorry I was just being funny .. and yes I’ve used that method very many time 💯 but also have had the screw holes in the rotor strip out
for the time itd take me to find another bolt that fits i could been stuck a pry bar behind the rotor and tapped around the center with a ball peen hammer and it wouldve popped right off, even in the rust belt, and didnt risk fucking up the actual hardware for the car
Go to the junkyard and have a bolt ready before hand . The holes are there for a reason. And why risk bending the dust shield 🤷♂️😂
Nooooooo, don’t use the bolt you need to use on the car, they almost always get boogered when using them in the hole in the rotor or drum. Get you some metric bolts and grind a pilot tip onto them, put them in your toolbox for the next job
Tap it with a hammer all around the face of the hub first. If its really stuck, it will crack the rotor after spinning the bolt in, ask me how i know this
Forgot to mention doing it on each side so it will be even . But also most will be replacing the rotor anyways if it cracks . Tapping the hammer can also be a little harsh for the hub and bearing but to each their own 👌
@HustlePaul That's true, hitting it can do some damage to the hub but I haven't had any issues with tapping it
That looks like For a 5th Gen prelude am I right ?
It’s for a crx
Same happened to me. Lucked out no engine damage. Gonna do the same. Muchas gracias
Glad to hear 👌😁
What was the problem on yours. ? I have a water leak. And probably is going to be in that area. Because I can't find the leak and my engine is over heating. But. No water around.
just got mine in my 3.7 2015 awd premium and i hit it in first gear and it pulled noticeably harder !! It also pulled a little harder in 4th-5th on the on ramp to the highway i looked down right after i punched it at 80mph and it was flying over 100 and i was like oh damn ! didn’t expect that. still little gains but you can feel it reach higher rpm noticeably quicker.
I just went to plentea cuz my friend was working there currently their mom owns it and it's so good!!!! Totally recommend!!
Hi Paulnonymous , how are you ?
How long can you drive with it sounding like that lol
I drove it for a bit but it started clacking louder and started leaking so I ended up changing it. But sadly the gates brand pump only lasted like 20k miles i suggest getting an oem one
I have these in my 08 civic. I live in Texas and these are amazing for the prize. Never given me an issue and they respond very well during braking and acceleration. Will be buying another pair soon since I'm going on 4 years with them.
