As far as I know, there is no such thing as a ventless compressed air system that conditions the air that does not have to have a means by which to exhaust the transfer of heat collected. Now you may have a few swamp coolers your pushing off as air conditioners, but your not actually transferring heat, which is really what conditioning the air means, your simply adding water to the room or removing water, humidifying or dehumidifying.
This video is merely advertisement, made w/the hopes that a viewer will use their links to purchase. Four of the five shown are not even air conditioners. They are in fact evaporative coolers, which uses completely different technology than does a true A/C unit. The last one shown is an A/C unit, but it is *not* ventless. Really - these guys don't have a clue as to what they are showing, so obviously they have never used them. Don't fall for their trap!
I'm glad that I don't have to vent my refrigerator or freezer to keep all cold or frozen. Hoping someday that a few brains will make small air conditioners that don't use water, but have coils that will drain with no maintenance.
We like your visions about the innovation of our current air conditioners. We are also hoping to see that in the future. Thanks for your support in our videos.
Your fridge and freezer are basically the same operation as your air conditioner. Since it is cooling such a small space it can run till it freezes the contents. To do this it exhausts very hot air but not at a volume that will produce enough to be noticeable. If your home air conditioner exhausted into the inside of your home it would just overpower the cool air.
The Whynter ARC-14S is a typical portable air conditioner that requires installation. It is not ventless. In fact, it's a dual hose unit. It looks amazing though.
it should be called evaporative cooler not AC. AC uses hvac and evaporative uses water and evaporation but if the room is humid it wont work . the room will get humid with this typ of cooler so not very effective unless the air is absolutely dry
Having to keep refilling with water is also a pain. Also how are you gonna hook it up to a water hose in a room far from faucet? These options suck too. The American comfort portable AC that I do have works great but I get bugs through the tiny cracks in my screen and I don't like having to keep resetting it up to use. With all of our technology they need to invent proper AC'S and dryers without exhaust for apt living. It's annoying.

The are evaporative coolers! Big ones have been used out West for years, but now companies make little plastic ones. They are usually cheap, have no condenser and work by blowing air over a wet screen. And they only work in dry desert climates. YOUR CAN MAKE YOUR OWN CHEAP EVAPORATIVE COOLER!"; Just put an electric or battery operated fan blowing wind at a damp towel that's hanging 2 or 3 inches in front of the fan (but not laying on the fan due to fire hazard). When the towel starts to dry, dampen it again. The water evaporating off the damp towel makes the air colder! These evaporative coolers don't work on the East Coast where there is more humidity. If your on the East Coast, look for a small portable A/C that has a condenser. If your lucky you may find a portable 12 volt one that can run off of batteries. They are expensive though.
There not air conditioners.. they're just big swamp coolers. Would you call an inflatable woman or man a real woman or man? Forget about it! Don't be deceived, cuz a compressor is needed to to cool you off
Bought a newair CE111 recently it’s similar to the DeLonghi EV250WH. I live in the east coast where it’s very humid so I probably won’t get the full benefits of it but it still works pretty good. Have a small AC in the bed room and use the newair around my apartment. It does shoot out cooler air than a normal fan and it helps. Make no mistake these are not ACs. They’ll keep you cool if sitting in front it but I find it hard to believe it’ll drop room temperature at all even if you live in dry air areas.
Yep...they stink or they smell rank ....added my so called extra water guard & within 5 day NOT 6 MONTHS...IT STUNK AGAIN. PEOPLE THESE THINGS DO NOT WORK AFTER THE MECHANISM YOU FREEZE THAWS...IN ABOUT 15 MINUTES...ITS HOT AGAIN. INVEST IN A REAL AC!

it is an overpowered humidifier which is why it's not good for damp areas, I don't understand as to much water in the air aka cold humidity needs to be taken out of the air, so in turn, you need a dehumidifier on steroids to combat access moisture, then use that water and pour it back in the unit, it should be a units across from each other connected with a hose and you never use water from your spout

I’m confused why the Whynter ARC-14S is included in this list (and rated #1). Video from manufacturer on Amazon shows it requires two vents out the window. Please clarify.
Nothing like making it more humid when it's hot out. Making cold is actually impossible. All you can do is remove heat. All air conditioning and refrigeration has to make the heat go somewhere else. You can not make heat just disappear.
The last one time recommended as the best looks like it requires venting through a window. I thought this was determining the best ‘ventless’ ones. 🤷🏻♀️

It's a little misleading to call evaporative coolers (swamp coolers) as air conditioners. You might as well call those tin metal ice boxes with radiating fins that the trains and theatres used to cool air as air conditioners. However, if your climate is dry enough, an evaporative cooler can be a good option, however most evaporative coolers on the market are really cheapninjection moldwd plastic models that call themselves 3 in 1 coolers, with cooling and humidification as the first two modes and usuallt LED colored lights as the third mode of operation. Pretty cheesy and maybe a metal bucket in front of a table fan would be just as effective or a damp towel drapped over a table or standing fan.
Thank you for the breakdown i was thinking about swapping my current portable a/c since it has to be vented for one that does not and now I have a few option to pic from.

0:22 “the best way to describe a ventless portable air conditioner is that it’s a compact air cooler system that features NO EXHAUST HOSE” I looked up the whynter ARC 14s its got 2 hoses that come out the back of it. Please do you research before advertising a product and calling it ventless. And yeah it might work without the hoses I don’t know if it will or won’t but anyway it would be a massive performance drop on the cooling side of it without the intended use of the hoses.
We would like to apologize about it. We really appreciated your comment and we will take note this one and incorporate it in our future videos. Thank you for your support!
It isn't ventless because it's the only one on the list that's an actual air conditioner, not a swamp cooler. I don't know how these companies are allowed to keep advertising their products as "air conditioners", when they are just water cooled devices. An air conditioner uses a refrigerant, not water.

An HVAC channel that calls this "air conditioning." Hey HVAC Training 101, will this work in my area I have 5000% humidity. Ready go!
It is a dam swamp cooler that only works in a dry climate.
Lots of fake reviewer posting .
Amazing video, amazing product..

Should show the sizes.
Thank you, will do it next time.
It is a SWAMP FAN - does not work in humid areas !
Amazing video clips! This video is really informative and it's helpful for us. It's about "Ventless Air Conditioners" Thank you so much for sharing this video.
We all know you work for this company because these products is full of shit
The arch is not ventless. I dont want the hose to deal with
You can get a small window unit AC for less than the price of ANY of these units.. I dont get it...
Great
It should be called a swamp cooler.
Very good quality product. I will definitely recommend it to my friends and family 👌

nice video''
These are not "Air Conditioners" . Ac got condenser Unit.. These are just good looking Desert Coolers.
Looking like effective product, thanks for sharing this.
All the reviews seem like they were paid to say very positive words.
This is how legionnaires dissease occurs :D
Humidity is the problem
