I cannot tell you how much you have inspired me to grow our own vegetables. Your videos and tips have never failed!! I live on the coast of Alabama, so my weather is pretty close to your Florida weather. I now have a fenced container garden area that is 54' x 56'. I am starting my earth garden this week. If you have any great tips on keeping the grass and weed population down, PLEASE let us know!! God has blessed you and I love that you always give Him thanks and glory!! Keep the videos coming!! I feel like I've known you both for years! LOL

It sounds like you have a marvelous garden going! Keep up the good work. This year we laid silage tarp under all our grow tables in the container garden. Then we covered the tarp with chopped straw. Looks real nice and keeps the weeds from growing under the grow tables. We love it. For our earth bed we installed landscape Timbers around the perimeter which stops grass encroachment. We still have to hand work the weeds inside the bed but the grass does not try to grow past the landscape Timbers. Let me get you a link to our earth bed.

I think your biggest challenge will be cross-pollination. Corn’s roots don’t go deep, so the container probably won’t limit root growth, but you’d need several containers all grouped together with access to a breeze to have a chance at pollination
