It cracks me up when people get on these comments just to bash a product that they probably have never used. I use the wheeler rod line and have never had a problem other than when i shut the door on one. I took it to the duckett office in Guntersville told them what i did and they gave me a new one no questions asked. If you need to bash a company and its products just because you dont like the owner then you need to get a life and grow up. By the way i have had the pleasure of meeting jacob. And his love and passion for the sport of bass fishing was apparent and being around him makes ya wanna go fishing.

There are people that hated the rods as soon as he said, “higher price point”. They will fabricate any number of reasons to hide behind. Rather than just say they liked the other series of Jacob’s rods and will keep fishing those, they make up something negative without even trying these. I have four of his original series and I like them. I will also buy one of these when the opportunity presents itself.

Jacob ... Your original 7'3" m/h is a perfect chatterbait rod ... I'll take a look at the rest of what you've got, but what I'd really like to have is a good flip stick.
Hard to flip when you stare at FFS all day, which is why he was killed in the Heavy Hitters tourney just like DC was.
@@matthewhairell849 ouch - lol. I don't care that those guys use FFS. People tune in to see fish get caught. Also, it helps people like me (that can't afford it, and don't want it) to better understand that there are fish in numbers I never imagined. The best part though (don't get it twisted - the sport relies on selling anglers stuff) is that some of the guys I fish against might have a great tournament every now and then, but won't strike gold that often. I have found that these guys have a hard time staying at the top of the points for the whole season. I just try to stack up as many good finishes as possible, and end up near the top in the end. Fishing is fun for me ... Jacob does it for his career - no reason to hate on the man.
Is it good for spinner baits , swim jigs and square bills also? Is it made in the USA?

Jacob, why do you like the handle so short on your rods? I had to go to the exprides because they have a full length handle. A longer handle allows me to make longer and more accurate casts.
Not trying to be funny, but if you'll let those Wheeler rods load, they cast a long way ... Further than I would ever need to be honest.

Definitely wish Wheeler would change rod companies but I know he's going with who's paying him....I get it.
He is Ducketts golden boy. Untouchable and can do anything he wants; including guided trips and waypoints for tourneys.

Shimano exprides are among the best on the market and they’re made in china. It doesn’t always translate to bad quality, however, i have no experience with the ducketts. It would be nice though if more were made in the US.
And name a rod made in America that cost less than 300.00
