    What Scanning Apps do you love?

      Following… I have a HUGE task ahead of me. Dad passed away a few years ago, and I have BOXES of unorganized photos to archive…

      @onepaul4u2 just take it one step at a time. I always tell people it has taken a lifetime to build these memories, it is not going to be sorted in a weekend. Happy sorting. 😁

    In addition to scanning and tagging photos, I use it to keep track of and label collections. Rocks. Family heirlooms. You get the idea. 😊

      Great, I love the detail. Do you take a lot of rocks? 🙃

      I’ve been collecting small rocks all my life. I have a few hundred. So remembering what they are is a challenge. I also have a lot of little things that have been passed down. In order to help my children identify what might be important to them, I’ve been using Photmyne to catalog them. The uses are endless for this program.

    I subscribed to photomyne, but I'm finding it impossible to find a place, inside or outside, where there's no shadow, reflection, light reflection. Any suggestions?

      If you get a couple of lights and put one on the left, one on the right that should help. Also if you use a stand for your phone. If that is not working and you are OK with doing one by one check out Google Photoscan, ruclips.net/video/TKNhRRc9SIg/видео.html it is pretty good at avoiding reflections and glare.😊

    Are there any other Apps out there that do what Photomyne does, but better? Thx, Jane

      For apps Photomyne is pretty great, if you want an amazing scan you really want to use a proper photo scanner (check out my thoughts here ruclips.net/video/1twJVjyYbJg/видео.html) 😁

    Hi, thanks for the video. I want to scan my photos and slides and then transfer them to my computer hard drive so that I can add them to a video. It sounds like the photos/slides have to stay in the Photomyne app. Is it possible to save photos/slides from Photomyne to a hard drive? Also, is there any specialty software specifically for creating a video from photos where I could easily add text, narration, and music? Thanks again.

    • @amandalittlecott
      @amandalittlecott  Год назад

      Yes you can save your Photomyne photos to your computer in the Photo saving options there is a send to computer option. As for creating a video from photos with audio etc., I love Wondershare Filmora which is really easy to get the hang of and you can try it for free to see if you like it before you buy which is great!😁

      Not as good a Photomyne, but worth checking out Google PhotoScan, is that available in your country? 😁

    Hello. Just found your post. If I use Photomyne to scan 3 photos on a page with a 12mp iPhone 11, will I get 4x increase in scan resolution on the same 3 photos if I use an iPhone 15 at 48mp? Photomyne are too vague.

    • @amandalittlecott
      @amandalittlecott  7 месяцев назад

      With the exact same page with the exact same image scanning area then yes you should. But I don't have 2 phones to test that on, unfortunately. 🙃

      @salesencore 7 месяцев назад

      Thanks for your reply. Photomyne eventually informed me after pursuing this question multiple times that the maximum scan resolution is 9mp. Consequently using an iPhone 11 with a 12mp camera will generate the highest resolution scan their app can accommodate. Not clear if this is the top end of phone scan technology in general or a limitation of Photomyne.

      For multiple photos this is the best for using it on your phone. But another option is to get a step up and use a Photo Specific photos scanner check out these options Espon V600 (ruclips.net/video/Iz-rqKX94Mw/видео.html) or Epson FastFoto 680W (ruclips.net/video/vVHPKs0y9VE/видео.html) 😁
