Total genius. I love Stanley Baxter. I can't watch him without tears of laughter tripping me up:)
Love it. Innocent, funny and probably the best Glasgow humour you could hear next to going into Lauders pub on a Saturday afternoon. Stanley Baxter is a god. Gonyerspal.
Excellent! I remember the original series on TV and am so happy to have found this now on You Tube.
Totally brilliant, extremely clever, and excruciatingly funny..
I'd forgotten how good Parliamo was. Of course, some bits are a bit exaggerated, but he's generally on the money. And as a child I didn't realise how good their English RP accents were. Great stuff!
Took the words out my mouth!
I've never heard anyone in South Lanarkshire use the word 'Ken'
My father's family are from Glasgow, Girvan and the Isle of Bute. My father deliberately dropped his accent when he moved to England (he was born in Edinburgh and then lived in Fife) but it always came back when he travelled north of the border.
thanks Brianna nice to hear someone likes us scots
I'm Scottish and am now in Canada with my Canadian girlfriend - S'aw marras 'n barras n'at know? Speaking of which, I must now be off .. and pummilit-inty 'er! ;0)

Doin that now, youd need to make Glaswegian part Polish/Punjabi/Romani/Swahili/Kurdish/Bangladeshi ...ach you get the idea.....

@electrogirlxxx Of course, we in Scotland speak like this. Get over yersel!
you dont come from glasgow i can tell lol
@ViscaBarcaInter Calm the beans, pal. Are hillbillies not American or Canadian? Did you not mean teuchters? Plenty folk in the South East - Edinburgh, Lothian and the Borders - as well as some from Fife, say "ken" and that's not exactly very far north. Look, we've all got our own accents. There's no point in ripping other people for theirs. Know what you mean about the BBC though.
god thats funny, and i still have no Idea whats going on.
