If you weren't around at the time you have no concept of how big and funny he was..he didnt do many tv shows but the ones he did were always brilliant.. quality rather than quantity...still alive too..
I would love to tell Mr Baxter how much I loved watching your show's with ,especially my lovely dad , when I was younger and treasure the laughs we had and I'm so sorry you struggled with your sexuality as there really is no need as you really are loved and I am forever grateful for all the happy times you gave us Love from Judy xxx
I thought he was the funniest man on tv. Great impersonator and actor and I laughed till I cried at most of his stuff. A wonderful talent. Old Masters and Young Sailors, hilarious.
Q. "Where did the man shoot his wife's lover ?" A. "In the Chilterns ?" Q. " No...in the Buttocks !" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 🤣🤣🤣 God Bless Stanley Baxter 🙏..a real Comedian and script Genius. I'm sore laughing....pure medicine!

Stanley Baxter and Benny Hill, best of the best.
Not many will get the line" I'll put another 2p in" Absolutely brilliant man.
Stanley Baxter/ The Two Ronnies- Dick Emery- different class. 👏👏👏
Just a genuinely talented and funny entertainer... Pure gold.

This guy was a genius, so funny!!!
Incredibly still alive and about to go 97 soon. Great comedy actor and impressionist.
Absolutely brilliant. Always was. "You're interested in Old Masters and Young Sailors". Well aren't we all!! Should be a Knight of the Realm.
Stanley Baxter, was a comedy genius. I remember his show very well 😂 brilliant
I didn't appreciate how funny he was as a teen in the early 70's
Stanley's impression of Magnus is extraordinary. Interesting that all the greatest had Mastermind sketches at the time.
oh that was BRILLIANT!!!
bloody marvelous stuff. ..so appreciated.
Brilliant. It's all in the detail.
Love Stanley Baxter
He got all the mannerisms right and everything 👍
Stanley was brilliant, enough said
His writing was very risque for the time. Bloody wonderful.
Pure Gold
A great actor. Unforgettable performance in the movie 'V. I. P.' ,with the late J. R. J. and other icons of British comedy
An absolute genius, sorely missed.
Betrrayed like much of the best.
No comments???? COMIC GENIUS.
LEGEND, .y late Dad loved him
A classic 👌
Comic genius !
Superb!
"Intestered in Old Masters and young sailors" 😂😂😂😂
Very clever man, deserves to be better remembered.
Stanley Is still with us
I think she means from our TV screens...Yes Stanley is 98 yrs old
Nick Eardley from BBC is spitting double of Stanley Baxter
His impersonation of Alan Whicker is hillarious
Q. "Where did the man shoot his wife's lover ?"
A. "In the Chilterns ?"
Q. " No...in the Buttocks !"
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 🤣🤣🤣
God Bless Stanley Baxter 🙏..a real Comedian and script Genius.
I'm sore laughing....pure medicine!
I can see Benny Hill here and latterly Harry and Paul.
I think Stable Baxter has come back as the BBC's political correspondent Nick Eardley.
The mannerisms are brilliant. So shifty and unbalanced.
Funny, clever and well-executed... and the absolute crap that passes for comedy on TV nowadays.
better than the two ronnies sketch!
It is good ... But it is no match for the clever writing of David Renwick , on the Ronnie's sketch.
Sexchange in bunker😁
Pity all his television work was ruined by atrocious canned laughter.
ķ
Canned laughter is vile.
I agree. I'd rather see this without the canned laughter...
