seriously one of the best jam bands ive seen. John k is set free with these guys. Reed owns so hard plus chamenti peals your face and jay lane holds it down. He was cool enough to take a pic with me and my homies. wingmen for life!

jerry is what made them iconic,they stopped playing cuz of that and damn they had john quit the orchestra and sign a contract too boot,,nailing jerry is exactly what they want ,mayer steals jerrys envelope filter coin right off yer head ,stranger shakedown,estimated,does jer on darkstar&birdsong all the way..easywind off the album so stow the they dont want someone nailing jerry ,more likely bill simply did not like john and bob weir happened to meet a new john..a deadhead who wants to play like jerry
Bryan Kirk Fickley, maybe you have not considered that you are a total turd burgler and are talking right out of your ass. 'Nailing Jerry is NOT what Bob wants, matter of fact he said as much in an interview in 15 after they played maybe 8 gigs, paraphrasing "At some point John boy is gonna have to step away from playing in the same style of Jerry so DeadCo can step into it's own thing"...lol, John K, used and uses the SAME ENVELOPE filter you nut, he was using it at the Phil's Bday shows at Capital theater just a month or so ago, I streamed all three, the envelope filter is a commonly used guitar effect. Mayer is so much more original than John K it's not even close, I was way down on Mayer in the beginning but unlike you, I have the ability of non judgement and I allow myself to admit that my first judgements and impressions are sometimes wrong, you get more out of life that way. You are apparently one of people who box themselves in and put up fences all around themselves based on ridiculous bias....If you want Jerry, the tapes of shows are out there, they're so easy to get, I mean if you need more live Dead let me know and I'll give you access to a media fire archive with most of the official releases, but you gotta admit that you're a turd burglar...
fortunately there are tens of thousands of hours of Jerry actually playing with the GD, and, just remember, Bob, Mickey & Bill want something original, something that's NOT The Grateful Dead cloned...
