I made this cake a few years ago. It was so pretty! Some people thought it was a real cake! They wanted a piece!!! You can also use double stick tape to secure your ribbon and embellishments.TFS!!!

What a wonderful, easy to follow video. I'm a new Nana and my favorite baby shower gift was diapers. I was blessed to be given different sizes and I didn't have to buy diapers till she was about 8 mnths old. I went out today and bought everything to make this with. FYI, my local Dollar General had these color ribbons at $2 for 12ft. Thank you for sharing :)

Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have given these at baby showers including the birth of my 3 grandchildren. I never made them so it was interesting to see how. I always give gift cards and a sm gift to the mother-to-be because there are so many things they need. Who can't use money.

I was so excited to see that you did a video on this, Christina! You give the best instructions and everything you make turns out beautiful! I used to roll the diapers and tie them with curling ribbon. It was so tedious! I like the idea of fanning it! Where did you get your twine (and ribbon)? They’re gorgeous! Just a side comment after saying what a great tutorial, thank you......Nothing wrong if you just make a one layer cake! If you know how expensive diapers are making a one layer version might be more affordable for anyone who is on a smaller budget!

Just a suggestion...using pins will put holes in the diapers so it's better to use hot glue, being careful not to get any on the diapers

Moccasins wrecked! USE DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE, not safety-pins!!!!! Those are actual baby-shoes, and could have been used to keep a baby's feet warm, even in the rain! Now baby's feet will get wet, blistered, and possibly even yeast-infected, if the new Mom, who's tired and doesn't know any better, tries to use them on her baby's feet. BAD CALL.

I hate diaper cakes they aren’t convient to use and honestly everyone I know who has been given on they tossed them out
They threw away free diapers?! All you have to do is take the cake apart and put the diapers in a basket in the nursery or in a drawer and use them…..
