I have the Ix1 edrive20 since mid feb - 14500km. When I ordered it the difference between entry I4 and end iX1 edrive30 was approx 10k EUR. So the decision was clear - fully spec edrive20. So far the average consumtion is 16,5 kWh/100km which make the realistics range of 410km.
Hi, good review. the additional driving modes are part of a subscription package. The range in the city is easy above 510km. The starting price is hard to beat. In Europe it’s like Renault Megan or VW ID3 45k Euro which 1000 euro more than the petrol model But the base spec offer a lot including heat pump. I4 is way more expensive at least in Europe.
The entry level i4 in Australia costs only $1000 more than the iX1 I reviewed in this video. It just doesn't makes sense to buy one unless you really want a small BMW electric SUV. Thanks for watching.
This 2WD version with all specs makes really not much sense imo as it gets too expensive. I have the AWD version and love it. The i4 is much longer and has an even bigger turning cycle. And it lacks as well the 22kW AC Charger. The IX1 is very easy to enter and gives a better overview. If you do long distances only rarely than the iX1 is a good choice, otherwise the i4 is the better tool.

Great to have an owner's perspective! Personally I prefer the i4, but the iX1 is a great car - BMW really don't make bad ones. Thanks for watching.
What colour is that?
Cape york green
3:15 just blatant cost cutting - they aren’t even trying to hide it anymore
It seems like such a simple thing to change though. How much could it cost???
