That's not a bad pick. But this game was more insane from beginning to end, and the finish of the second one was better than Ravens-Broncos. That's probably my third pick. Also Panthers-Rams 2003 is the other one deserving of consideration. Maybe a few of the SBs (Steelers-Cards, Pats-Falcons)
Its pretty hard to say the top two but top 5 would definitely be both of the cardinals packers SB 43 the helmet catch superbowl and the broncos ravens game

It's COVID19 2020; I'm rewatching (again); this time to analyze deeply. Defense is NOT absent; Packers have: #52 Clay Mathews, #21 HOF CB charles Woodson, #77 Cullen Jenkins, and Pro Bowler #36 Nick Collins. Cardinals have #90 Darnell Docket and Calais Campbell #93; as 3-4 DL; so basically a D Tackle in a 4-3. 9:33 Cardinals Force a Fumble! THIS Game is a triumph of Off Scheme; and the angle really lets you see HOW the route combos attack the coverages then in use; with 3-4 teams. Zone Blitzing got beat in this game. This was Rodgers 2nd season and proved he could carry a team when an opposing offense was unstoppable. 2010 was a top D so he didn't have to work THIS hard!
It's crazy the limited times the Cards have been apart of the postseason under "Arizona (6 appearance in 29 season), they've had a few of the greatest playoff games ever played. It's almost like every time you seem them in the postseason, something special is gonna happen!
I still can't believe the refs missed that facemask. But this was one heckufa game! It's too bad we came out on the losing end. But this was a real classic. :)
BrettGB the fumble was forced before the face mask, Arizona still gets the ball and that's a bullshit facemask if it's called. Can't believe Rodgers fumbled their season away on his first possession of overtime.
Alaric Amador, are you kidding? Rodgers's helmet was covering his eyes they pulled the facemask so bad. You could be right though, ARZ may have had the ball either way.
Alaric Amador, you're right, they forced the fumble before the facemask. BUT you still can't grab a guys fasemask (especially the quarterback's), no matter what. Gotta call that for sure.
Alaric Amador, actually, yes ARZ forced the fumble before the facemask, but did not recover it before the facemask. So had they called it like they should have, it would've been 15 yards and a 1st down for the Packers. However there was also holding on the Packers, so they would offset each other, and replayed 3rd down.
Went to this game, man it was so exciting. However on that last play as soon as I saw the ball come out and the Cardinal defender running to catch it I just turned around in frustration knowing what was about to happen. Even though the Packers lost it was still fun to be apart of.
He'd of got bountygated instead and Warner would've played the next year since honestly I think those hits vs the Saints made Warner lean more towards retirement.

You left the 08 Atlanta vs cards wild card game and the 08 nfc championship where the cards barely beat the eagles to get to the super bowl 43 against the Steelers
the greatest NFL playoff game i have ever seen and i have some great games in my life over the last ten plus years i will always remember where i was when this classic p playoff game was played i watched it with my mom & darren i remember almost ever detail about this game the cards were lead by future HOF QB Kurt Warner the packers were lead by 1st year starting & future HOF QB Aaron Rodgers cards started fast & blew the packers out but the packers came back & made the game one of the greatest in NFL history tied the game up @ 45 then the game went to OT then a clear as day facemask call that the refs missed causing Aaron Rodgers to fumble the ball which the cards scoop up & score to win the game & go all way to super bowl 43 & loose to the Sealers in one of the greatest super bowls ever played
The referee was looking at the ball when it came out, not at the quarterback. He definitely missed it, but he can't look at two things at once. Freeze it at 2:09:03.
Honestly when GB scored to make it 45-44 they shuda went for 2, jus win the game, percentage wise with the way these 2 defenses have played they wud of had a GREAT shot at converting
Man A-Rod should request a trade to the desert and help Larry get his first ring. A top notch defense, and a stud RB returning frm injury.. Hey only one fan can wonder ??
A couple takeaways from this game, especially since rodgers is now in new york. The same problems that reared themselves in this game basically plagued the rodgers packers era from start to finish. Cant get a defensive stop when it matters, costly turnovers, special teams misshaps, and lackluster coaching. As a lifelong packer fan who grew up in indiana watching peyton play its kinda freaky seeing all the similarities in the packers and colts inabilities to get the job done. Its been a lot of anguish as a fan
19:11 WHAT a game; Safety 'took the cheese' sucking up for the run; it's a flea flicker, the WR is wide open deep for a TD; and 52 Clay Mathews MADE him right; with a strip-sack. If you hit the QBs hand and cause that; it SHOULD count as a sack; its better then a sack. Loss of yardage and hopefully, the ball.
32:22 Charles Woodson! Whenever #21 Woodson is lined up against #11 Fitz; Warner is not going there. Here; a shallow crosser, and Woodson makes a game changing play in almost certain scoring drive. Since the game turned out as close as it did; this is one (of many) game winning plays.
Just saw this game for the first time. I was a huge NFL fan, so I am wondering how I missed it. Late in the 4th quarter, I was thinking "with so much offense and the defenses unable to stop them, how crazy would it be to end with a Rodgers pick 6? Nah, no way! Gotta be a Warner TD pass to win..." heh heh, my ESP worked again! About the many complaints in the comments on Joe Buck and his lack of emotion? I like his style - it's professional.

Super Bowl XLII--New York Giants vs. New England Patriots
2007 Fiesta Bowl--Boise State vs. Oklahoma Sooners
2015 NFC CHampioship--Arizona Cardinals vs. Green Bay Packers.
You left the 08 Atlanta vs cards wild card game and the 08 nfc championship where the cards barely beat the eagles to get to the super bowl 43 against the Steelers
You know it’s gonna be a great playoff game when they play it at the cardinals stadium
Nice one; thank you for posting this awesome game.
God as a cards fan I miss Warner and the rest of those teams from 07-09 cards were actually good then.
Kurt Warner belongs to a group of ten genius level quarterbacks to ever play in the NFL.
even though the facemask was controversial still heck of a game GG Packera #Birdgang #RedseaAZ
MR. MCLOVIN as soon as rodgers fumbled he was no longer the ball carrier so no faamask possible
the greatest NFL playoff game i have ever seen and i have some great games in my life over the last ten plus years i will always remember where i was when this classic p playoff game was played i watched it with my mom & darren i remember almost ever detail about this game the cards were lead by future HOF QB Kurt Warner the packers were lead by 1st year starting & future HOF QB Aaron Rodgers cards started fast & blew the packers out but the packers came back & made the game one of the greatest in NFL history tied the game up @ 45 then the game went to OT then a clear as day facemask call that the refs missed causing Aaron Rodgers to fumble the ball which the cards scoop up & score to win the game & go all way to super bowl 43 & loose to the Sealers in one of the greatest super bowls ever played
The video starts at 0:00 you're welcome.
Jesus Meza-Garcia thanks
Phenomenal Kurt Warner What a game
That’s what I loved about him he could just go off any moment and pretty much put up unstoppable perfect numbers
Rodgers: Starts the game with a INT and finishes the game with a fumble
rodgers always victimized by a trash d.
one year he had a good defense he won it all, which was the next year
true, but he had a chance to win the game and missed jennings wide open
Sami Shamroukh well this was his 2nd year and he made some mistakes. He improved so rapidly by 2011
But that D wasn't trash. It was a top 5 defense, they just choked hard
this was like his 4th or 5th year bro. Drafted in 05 I think
Mo Overall Fitness Hacks let's not act like they didn't have one of the best Ds in the league in 2009
Both packers cardinals playoff games are the best in nfl history
My favorite team winning my favorite game to ever watch
The game that put Kurt Warner in a gold jacket
Nothing better than Joe and Troy in the booth
One of the Greatest Games in NFL History!
Rodgers gets a hand to the face the ball is out. The Arizona Cardinals win it!
I was at this game with my grandpa, I'll never forget...
I was at this game. Such a great game!
That OT Turnover Should’ve been a facemask on Arizona honestly, bad call by the officials
The referee was looking at the ball when it came out, not at the quarterback. He definitely missed it, but he can't look at two things at once. Freeze it at 2:09:03.
@@stephenh5944 It is his job to get it right. Don't make excuses from him. It was a blown call and that ref should have been fired.
Wow!!! Both defenses were getting seriously ripped apart!!
21:54 "The numbers speak for themselves" 😂😂 💙
Still gets me how the cards broke down against the saints after this game
The team that cut warner ended being his last win was against
man that crowd is rocking
Just came here to see Kurt Warner ball right after his HOF induction.
The Cardinals kicker had one job to do and that is to not miss the kick.
Cardinals fan because of Kurt Warner. Rams fan till I ended up in Az thank god Warner did too.
My man Darnell the 90. Miss him
Can we all appreciate how emotionless Joe Buck was at the last play?
First time seeing this game. That was great!
It's disappointing that "politics" robbed Kurt of the middle years of his career. Still one of the best to ever throw a football in my opinion.
God i miss these days of football
Honestly when GB scored to make it 45-44 they shuda went for 2, jus win the game, percentage wise with the way these 2 defenses have played they wud of had a GREAT shot at converting
DO YALL KNOW WHAT HAPPENED THE LAST TIME WE LOST THE CARDS IN THE PLAYOFFS??? WE WON THE SB THE NEXT YEAR
THE TRUTH
. Anonymous yeah good luck with that lol
. Anonymous
Man the Packers and Cardinals could have a playoff rivalry if they meet again
. Anonymous W
Mr. Splashteen Just the Packers would see it as a rivalry lol. The Cardinals always beat them and just see them as a bump on the road.
1:58:03 look how kurt warner looks the safety and line backer over for the post route
Hall of Famers:
Packers: Aaron Rodgers, Charles Woodson
Cardinals: Kurt Warner, Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin
It was just getting good with Warner in 08 and 09
I was waiting for this game!!!
The second half is nuts.
I miss this receiving core
Cheese Head the receiving corps for arizona was even betterm
Better*
10 years ago.... my my time flies
Watching this in 2021
What a finish!
