Oh itll be fine it usually balances itself out with the amount of returning players. Plus all the people wanting to run Viper / Picto will be trying to speed level to 90 to start the content

Haven't even really done any Extreme content. Because I suck. I know I suck. I don't care that I suck. I wish I didn't suck, though. I just know I do.
Reaper appeals to me because the insane amount of stabby techniques that string together so fast you look like a one man Ides of March give me the necessary serotonin to momentarily get over the fact that i work retail. Seriously though, so many of its attacks weave into one another that you look like you wandered off the set of Chainsaw Man.
Listen, if you punch things hard enough, you can ignore mechanics. Edit: nonono. You're not gonna just drop the most important part at the end and then bounce. We demand pictures of Floki in his winter sweaters.
I staarted out as a Summoner...because i ALWAYS play a caster in all the games i play. And at lvl 20ish i went rogue to play as Ninja. I have main Ninja ever since. The only melee job left to lvl up is monk. Its sitting at 85. Melee is definatly the way to play this game. Its with what i had most fun! All its missing is a sexy no jutsu!
Despite being a Support Main, I do like to play as a Reaper, just so I can take a break and mentally criticize the healers that I know I can do better than. 😊
Dang you looked fabulous in the pink... True that only the last mudra matters ((the muscle memory is arguing hard there.)) Cant wait to see six melee dps in the same party all different in jobs and all fighting to be in the right spot to hit that max damage combo.

Don't even have to watch this and I hard disagree. Nobody should play dps at all in Dawntrail. Let me get my short Viper queues in peace. Everyone should play tanks and healers.
To be fair, Tanks are kind of melee, too. I tend to Healer/Caster mostly, but I like Tanking sometimes, too. Go to to toe, smack the enemy in the face with sword, axe, bigger sword, or explosions wielded as a melee weapon, rotations are pretty chill for the most part, and you DON'T die when the boss just happens to sneeze in your direction. It's like MNK with permanent Riddle of Earth. (Too soon?)

I remember when Rogue/Ninja released, the sheer amount of players that skipped the queue to run fates was ridiculous.
There was multi-hour long que's for dps on my server at that time.

Besides viper most of the dps jobs have 2 maybe 3 postionalls so you can true north most of it and not even worry about it
its still silly and a barrier to better boss designs, but i could rant about positionals all day. Outdated mess

You can turn off spell effects from other people, sothis complaint is easily remedied.

I think Viper honestly is the simplest melee in the game now. But out of those to reaper - Samurai can be a little fucky to learn
