Oh I am looking forward to more stories on this beauty! I wish Mercedes brought back this exact shade of silver. It has a almost nickel tone to it which gives it a slight warmth.
Brillant i thought i had a great job blooking after a 56 gullwing and 57 roadster but SIR Simon YOU have best job !!! Please keep all these great treats coming !
The GTO isn't that special, no more so than any other 250 variant, of which there are many. Only its rarity drives the stupid values, and that because Ferrari made as many as the rules obliged him to. A 275GTB is far more beautiful and far better to drive, yet is not worth as much, because it is simply not as rare and not as well-known as a race car. This was only ever built to go racing, it's utterly impractical as a road car (the standard 300SL fulfilled that job, although it's still very cramped inside) and was quickly made obsolete on-track.
I heard your Podcast with Chris Harris. What a purchase! Congratulation on your achivements that have brought you to this level. (And thanks for all the cool video's)
No words for this... but thank you..
Let's be honest, it's true that you have to be very very patient to buy "the Mona Lisa", but you have to be very very very rich too 💰💰💰

Got shivers from that one. Lovely work Mr. Kidston.

This and the Ferrari 250 GTO are cars that really should've been made in bigger quantities. The world deserves it.

I still think Mercedes got scammed. …Quite philosophical point of view, I admit.
