- The extraordinary Banda Magda is a colourful group of five musicians led by the Greek composer and singer Magda Giannikou. The band began in New York just seven years ago and already has performed on stages in 22 countries around the world and in numerous festivals.
Combining jazz and a variety of Latin American musical styles, Banda Magda has developed a unique elegant sound spiced with dynamic rhythms and impeccable execution.
And that’s only the beginning. Banda Magda has a comprehensive line of workshop programmes that “encourage open-mindedness and self-exploration through the study of global musical cultures”. We wouldn’t be able to come up with a better way to describe it.

I watched them twice. You won't believe how much better they sound live! During the whole concert I was like "WTF IS GOING ON?!".Huge fan since then. Also had the chance to drink some beers with them. Awesome people. Kind and down to earth.

Es el mismo tren siempre o van cambiando? Dónde es?
Usamos rutas diferentes. Al principio usábamos trenes más antiguos, pero estos son cada vez más escasos, por lo que nos tenemos que conformar con los trenes modernos, que de paso, son mas o menos todos iguales. Ahora mismo filmamos en diferentes partes de Lituania. A Chico lo grabamos entre Kaunas y Vilnius.
