    THANK YOU SO MUCH, ive had my image imported as plane, but the shadow would only take the outline of the plane, and the green screen ??? THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT IVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR, i can't thank you enough !!

    Thank you for an awesome tutorial! So helpful and especially mentioning the part where importing image planes might not being an option and how to add it! Would have been so lost without that comment!

    How would to make the animation look 3 dimensional when you set up the lighting and shading?
    The only way i could think of is setting up a bump node with different image textures animation set at different stage.
    Eg: color animation, black and white animation, reverse black and white, shaded animation, contrasted animation. Etc..
    I also thought of weight paint and subdivision of the panels. But I'm not entirely sure if that would work.

      Yes you could try a Normal Map on top! Try it and see if it works - worth a look!

    Thank you for this tutorial! So helpful and clear! Is there a way to influence the speed of the animation (say, slow it down to play on 2's?) there must be a node I'm missing.
