Yes, but honestly, Sean lives in São Paulo, right? In the city of Santos, it's a samba theme, which samba is a style of music from Rio de Janeiro, so 3rd Strike would be better
I think Sean's design could have been better if his "Gi" had been a bunch of flour sacks or fruit bags sewn together to resemble a karate uniform. It would reflect his scrappy, self-taught style of Shotokan more. Instead, he was just a palette swap.
Sean go evolve and grow to understand discipline to become a way better fighter, for some reason I do respect him but he has a whole lot to learn, his sister is a serious knockout ( mmmmwah ) So if he gets a shot in SF V & seriously a BIG IF , I would try him out , a different sean with more discipline and a pure focused fighter
is Kind of sad that street fighter has never move from the events of sf iii, i just wish street fighter move foward and develop their characters and story
SFV is before 2nd impact. But yeah I get what you're saying, I wish they moved from the staple characters and focused more on the newer gen, something like am enhanced/updated 2nd impact.
Initially I thought Sean was a black kid from New York. Which was cool because it wasn't just another boxer. Something that was a super common trope at the time. So I was somewhat confused when I heard this theme for the first time before learning his full history. I grooved nonetheless.
Man i love this theme, its tons better than the third strike version. In fact the soundtrack, backgrounds, colors, and overall presentation were much better in New Generation and Second Impact than third strike in my opinion.Third Strike just looks dull and washed out color wise. Second Impact is my favorite sf3 series game. Third strike would be perfect tho if they added themes from the first 2 games as well as the stages. Love the 3 series as a whole tho, always have.
That's how i see alot of old school capcom fighters. They're presentation and design in stages were much more interesting but then the last game seems very lazy (MvC to MvC2, SFIII to 3rd Strike, Darkstalkers to 3, etc). They add more to gameplay but other stuff is feeling meh. Which is funny that 2nd Impact is just New Generation with new characters but had more put more effort than 3rd Strike. Like you said, i still love the whole of the series, nothing can perfect but close enough
Honestly, I like the general mood and tone of Third Strike more, and I think the OSTs are just as good. Both games are amazing imo. The only thing I can't stand about Third Strike is Remy.
I love Sean as a whole character and don't think he's given the respect he deserves. Remember, before they scrapped the idea of leaving out Ken & Ryu, he was supposed to be the protag instead of Alex (Me personally would have liked to see Yun and Yang as the protagonists though). He's supposed to represent the new generation of warriors and he's the small fry with hidden potential and a already has some fighting skills under his belt, just like Sakura. In this game he is also the most dominating here from his "Shoryu-dunk" to his wide ass quick normals. Give this kid another green light and a whole lotta basketballs Capcom.
The cringy Q Machado comments bringing shame upon the original SF players from back in the day are the reason why I keep coming back to this video of this song and not another. You just need a good laugh sometimes.
Yeah he's an idiot he is acting like he is 70 years old as if there's no people that is the same age as him and know the history of SF besides him. I hate arrogant people like that
I have some great news Sean might be back to Street Fighter 5 I really know it. There's water melon in the Brazil stage and the city in the background I think it's São Paulo stage.
+SilentJMillz327 If he was in SFV, he would actually be younger, as SFV takes place before 3rd Strike. Of course, most people already know that SFV takes place after SF4, but ever wonder why Bison is still alive in SFV but not in SF3?
+Sir Lumino (SunshinEggs42) remember there was new generation and second impact before third strike. But Sean can still be in it in my opinion. This could be when he is in his late teens or early twenties. Yeah his sister is in it, but this can be when he just started out when it comes to fighting.
We need an older Sean to return as Luke's Rival (with his own move set SF3 second impact inspired) * faded dreadlock ponytail* with a more modern wardrobe Silk Versace or Louis Vutton button up with gold chain and shorts or slacks See Gucci mane's outfits
well there were good parts about both ost. in 2i, everyone hes their own theme that vibrant, sad and enthriling while in 3s, some characters share themes like necro and 12 or oro and sean which doesnt show much creativity. 3s on the other hand has better quality and more actionlike music to get the person pumped up.
Not saying 3S didn't have good themes, i still enjoyed its soundtrack but it just showed Capcom's laziness with certain last titles. Not just music but with stages and presentation, even if the gameplay is "better". Same with Darkstalkers 3, MvC2, Capcom vs SNK 2, Alpha 3 etc. I wouldn't say 3s had better quailty or more than the other SF3 games but some themes do pumped more in a fighting feel.

I agree with you on this being Sean's theme and I hope Capcom uses this as his theme if he comes back.
Yes, but honestly, Sean lives in São Paulo, right? In the city of Santos, it's a samba theme, which samba is a style of music from Rio de Janeiro, so 3rd Strike would be better
I always thought the music in 2I was better than 3S.

Too bad today's Capcom devs only look at 3rd Strike when remaking SF3 fighters SMH
I strongly disagree. Even though I prefer Sean's 3rd strike theme more, I have to say that both tracks are equally great.

*Looks at description* I KNOW, RIGHT!? This is the only theme that fits Sean out of the three...
I think Sean's design could have been better if his "Gi" had been a bunch of flour sacks or fruit bags sewn together to resemble a karate uniform. It would reflect his scrappy, self-taught style of Shotokan more. Instead, he was just a palette swap.
No way Ken Master would allow his pupil to dress in rags.
Remember swag is important to ones style. What's ryu without kens cool red headband
Sean was rocking the dreadlocks on undercut before it became hot
I want at least two hair style options for Sean if he joins sfvi: long dreads and waves. And maybe a du rag. But definitely a playboy mustache
And now we get his sister in 5. Badass!
I'm still hoping that he is Future DLC
Me too.
St4 second dosw of garbage is trash though.

This puts me in a hell of a good mood I could stay in the gym with this all day keep em comin
I put this music on a lot at summer time! It really makes you wanna run a mile XD

And it makes me sad every time I think about it.
At least it's a banger of a theme
What about SF3 New Generation, the first one?
@@edwardgaines6561 Doesn't technically count since his theme in New Gen was just a remix of Alex's theme
