also on the music topic, 4 plays too much for nostalgia, it was hoping to get people to like the score from the old games with out doing anything really new with it, where as this they were trying to make something new that fit more with the cast, untill third strike changed it to hip hop, which its still good but this is miles better

I think this fits Ryu's character more because he is a good fighter as the title suggests. This gets me hyped to beat Ryu even more so than 3rd Strike. Kobu one was lacking imo. It didn't have that hyped music that this soundtrack has.
The most memorable characters in the series were definitely those in SFIII. Probably because the music complemented their profiles so well. SFIV's electro BS is a bastardization of the series.

@Hyvarn no problem, but that's still not something to be happy about. Even worse, in UMK3 Scorpion is completely outclassed by Human Smoke. Scorpion in the 2D era was a shameful era for Scorpion.

No, as someone who grew up on SF2, YES it definitely gets old. I LOVE when they actually take a chance and give the characters new fresh themes instead of taking the easy route and rehashing/remixing the same old worn out themes repeatedly, over, and over, and over again.
Most of Street Fighter III's music has a similar feel to Streets Of Rage. I thought about wanting a crossover of the two franchises and including this beautiful theme. If those who are fans of Street and Streets, it's worth playing and listening to SFIII 2nd Impact, you will feel the difference soon.

Instead of retreading old characters from the 90s, like M. Bison, they should make a *FINAL* Street Fighter with Ryu as boss. We could have the younger crowd, Sakura, Sean, Yun & Yang, Karin, Makota, as well some newbies like Guild's daughter and Ken's son Mel could all fight with this wizened, salt-and-pepper Ryu. I think that would be a grand sendoff to this series.
Underwear Ryu should be a Skin in Street Fighter 5, or maybe the upcoming Street fighter game, Street Fighter 6! (If they even make a Skin system in that game)

So i would have to pass the lyrics to you. Mainly, i think it would be objects or people using them, like a ``bordo``(something near red) jacket, a book. etc..., not too much colorful, just these specific objects to be colored in the ambiance. But all of he drawings should have the sketch nearly of what u have used in sf3. Are u interested? We got a problem -im from brazil and the songs are in portuguese, but we can translate and speak with each other.

Actually, he was. If you play as either Ken or Akuma in Second Impact and defeat Gill, Ryu will appear as the true final boss.
