I think it was beautiful that Trina tried to include both sides of her family in her wedding. It is HER wedding. Ms. Evelyn needs to just pray about it and let it go.
Ms. E needs a man of her own I believe that’s why she has never been able to truly move on she still holds resentment against those two but every time you do it you still let people have power over you . I shall not hold on to hurt that long but everyone is different 🤷🏾♀️

Everyone is saying its been 20 years and Ms. Evelyn should move on. However, you all forget that Daddy Braxton's wife is the same woman who was "friends" with Ms. Evelyn, babysat the children, and all while she was sleeping with Daddy Braxton while he was married to Ms. E...So although I do wish Ms. E could find love, I completely understand her not ever wanting to accept Wanda (a.k.a the side chick/mistress turned wife). It's also selfish of him for wanting her to "get over it" when he caused that toxicity. Out of all the women he could of messed around on her with wth did it have to be Ms. E friend?!?!? 🤔

And while folks have said Ms.E is the reason the girls are the way they are, I don’t think it’s fair. She is reacting to the betrayal. He was her first and only love AND a pastor. Then to have it done to her by a trusted source, she probably came out of that not knowing what was real and what was fake not to mention 6 children? I’m not sure she has truly dealt with it, but what I know is I wouldn’t be able to break bread with the woman. It’s bad enough she has to tolerate him because they want their father there. Trina is truly a sweetheart.

People keep telling Ms E to let it go. Notice she’s not the one that brings him up or the conversation up. It’s the sisters and the dad. They’re the ones that are ALWAYS bringing up their past relationship. Ms. e never talks about it, she’s always said let her live her life, they’re the ones that can’t let it go.

It was my step grandma that never wanted to do things as a family- we had to have 2 gatherings back to back, one for her and grandpa, and grandma’s time, but it was sad because they were both my grandmas .
