Looks like an upgraded Lackey Ferra/Torr. The leap ability is what a bully character like this needs. It doesn't even look slightly OP due to how strong air zoning seems in this game so far.
Gorilla is such an INTERESTING character. I love this villain and his powers!

Games not out yet, but seems like Grodd's float has way more utility than Ermac's.

Awesome video! Grodd is the reason I'm buying Injustice 2 as I didn't play the first Injustice. As you've described it, his style is a perfect fit for me.
I watched the official Grodd breakdown and still wasn't sold on the character. But this this did it. Interested in picking him up after Black Adam (my old main), and Poison Ivy

Ween Omatic it's not baseless because I have eyeballs and can actually see Grodd's kit, just like everyone else here. I'm not saying he's gonna be overpowered, I'm saying he has more in his kit than most.
Some of these characters look so overpowered, im sure something broken will be found within the first week

Evan Byrne aka ButtonMK I've heard this about so many different characters. I feel like the Beta characters and returning characters will do best since people already have plenty of experience with them.
dylan stephenson many returning characters are different. look at Flash. he's almost unrecognizable.
That's true, but there are characters like Batman and Bane who pretty much do the same thing but their special moves look different and they have a few new special moves to spice things up. I'm excited that Green Arrow can actually do tons of damage now.

I am new to fighting games and was wondering if you can answer me a couple questions.
1. Is it better to start of using the D-pad or Analog stick?
2. I have trouble actually completing the combos, for example, if it is down right I end up getting on of the middle crouching moves using the analog, what is the best way to not mess up moving in the right directions?
3. Best thing to do to get better when new to fighting games? I really want to get good at Injustice 2

Im new and getting Injustice 2, could you maybe when the game drops do an 'Art of injustice' like IzawSmash does for smash bros, its basically just teaching someone the game, he does 4 videos which go from beginner to expert based on all the fundamentals etc

Does anyone know what gear will be unique to Grodd? Somehow I don't see the character defining gearpiece. Are the shoulders and breastplate two different items or one and the same like on everyone else?

The buttons are numbered. Notations for combos. Square is 1 triangle 2 x in 3 cirlce is 4. Yes it is different when I heard this but I've been using these terms for years. Takes time
