- Why Legendary Godzilla VS Final Wars Godzilla Isn't Close! When it comes to the Kaiju community, one commonly debated topic is regarding who would win between Legendary, AKA Monsterverse Godzilla, and the Final Wars Godzilla from the early 2000s. Who is smarter, stronger, faster, and more of a titan-killing machine? I go over feats, statements, and the like to decipher who would beat the other!

The "isn't close" is a common trend now in VS channels
It definitely is lol. Seeing a lot of it on other channels. Guess it just draws in more attention
I agree
I just view it as a different name for vs battles mostly
It’s honestly a massive turn off when I see someone make a title like that.
90% of the time it is simply click bait, and the contestants are actually relatively close. The other 10% of the time it’s just Contant creators needing to make a video to debunk a popular, but shit, character power wise.
Lack of imagination and following trends
Legendary can tank a lot of hits.
However Final Wars is relentless.
And has some of the craziest stamina of bassically any Godzilla
true but legendarys defense is massive so by the time final wars wounds him he'll probably be beamed like hell clawed and possibaly pulsed if he manages to break legendarys dorsals also i think that if godzilla/legendary stopped playing around like he did in g.v.k then final wars is gonna be in trouble especially if legendary gets some good hits in
@@NinjaPlaysM You seem to forget that the only kaiju to ever even damage FW was Keizer Ghidorah, who siphoned his energy. Since MV Godzilla can't do that, there's a chance he wouldn't even harm FW
@@gojiberrii1261 yea but fw wouldnt damage him either so its really just a stalemate until one of them gets the upperhand and makes the finishing blow
@@NinjaPlaysM What makes you say FW wouldn't damage him? He killed pretty much every other kaiju with almost no issue
One thing to point out is that while mv Godzilla is tough and this matchup is very close I will say that he can get overwhelmed quickly. We saw him struggle a bit dealing with the mutos while final wars took a whole roaster of monsters without even feeling tired.
Yes a weakened and fatigued godzilla, he literally killed multiple mutos in the past, one of them beign the apex of the species, a muto that was more evolved(barb) refused to fight godzilla because she wasn’t stupid, most of the monsters that FW defeated were kinda featless and far weaker than him
@@thepunisher4841 true but that doesn’t deny the fact that final wars can handle multiple enemies. With monsterverse he can do the same but can get somewhat tired as we saw with his fight with kong and when mechagodzilla was bursting out the mountain he was trying to muster whatever strength he had left in the tank.
@@thepunisher4841 the mutos was also quite featless so what's ut excuse also godzilla wasn't weakened before he fought the mutos, the fact he got millions of years of experience but still struggle against to normal mutos says something..

Stamina would go to Final Wars as he basically destroyed the entire TOHO roster singlehandedly without tiring at all over the course of 24 hours while GvK was only 12 hours with Godzilla only fighting 2 on the Legendary roster.
It's also worth noting Final Wars Godzilla is meant to be a composite of the first 50 years of the character, which may or may not play into scaling him.
That roster has no feats
He also used half his energy and still fought for 12 hours straight

@@cosmicape4829fym no feats? 😭🙏 Gigan alone destroyed 2 continents in a moment, almost destroying the Earth, having consistent statements and feats for that, and it was gigan in base who is relative to other "featless" kaiju in the movie, also weaker than ebirah and hedorah.
Godzilla final wars absolutely wiped out planetary gigan, later on wiping next planetary monsters which also had inverse statements to be able to do so. FW has underrated stamina because he chased the gotengo all the way from the artic or some cold area where he was frozen to tokyo where the temperature and weather completely and drastically changed, meaning that fw could've potentially chased the ship around a small portion of the world. Not to mention that right after doing so, he got into a fight with not one monster, but two. That alone could challenge MV's feats as he usually always struggles with monsters that jump him. However, I do believe fighting half a night before going into another fight with a mechanized version of yourself is more impressive. It's just that fw didn't show his actual limits when it came to stamina and feats. Remember, MV was featured in a whole lot of other adaptations like the ones in the comic and tv shows that are coming out. Not to mention his soon to be quadrilogy. Final wars was only featured in a singular movie. No comics, just that one movie where he decimated a roster of kaijus. If fw had enough experience, it'd be decently safe to assume that he could've strategized a battle plan to defeat Keizer. That's just interpretation though so don't have too much faith in what I say lol
fws goji may not have many battle experience. but however he does have some good strategy's. although millennium goji aka the 1999-2000-2001 has way more experience then legendary goji and fws goji millennium goji is already 300m yrs old now likely more. this is just my opinion apart from he age of millennium goji. I was told millennium goji and 1954 goji were on the planet before the premium impact.
mv literally chased monster zero the entire globe, same thing with kong
@kingkaijuboygodjira3116 I don't think there is no exact confirmation on Godzilla 2000 being 300 million years old, so Idk where you got that from, kind to think of it, some say Fw Godzilla is 200 million, but I don't think that's valid either. Legendary was the only ever Godzilla confirmed to actually have an age because it's a big part of his story, being like 252 million years old or something, so he's probably older than both, unless you actually have direct information from the director himself stating the Millennium era Godzilla ages.
And I don't take fan theories of whoever told you. Those are just speculations.

Some of these ratings are pretty confusing, my favorite was:
"Godzilla and Kong are similar strength and faught for a long while...Meanwhile Kaizer Ghidora is one of the strongest monsters in the series but godzilla didn't last as long in the fight against him, so Legendary Godzilla wins that point"
But we ignore the fact he's been practically throwing down with monsters and roaming the world tho
Also basic rule of: "If it ain't in the movie, it don't count", then it just screams "Well this is the one I like and I want him to win" kinda deal.
lets not forget the amount of strength it takes to throw kumanga literally hundreds if not thousands of miles away. Like honestly FW goji edges out in almost everything against legendary.

Speed is iffy
Intelligence is also iffy

After all fw goji had fought a whole roster of kaijus for basically 2 days straight without even being tired.
Legendary on the other hand was worn out after firing into the hollow earth and kong thus basically losing to MG.
Like in All honesty FW v Legendary isnt really close at all. Looking at the stats and so on, fw goji rocks legendary as Keiser is said to be the STRONGEST ghidorah during its time until arguable black hole Ghidorah came into the picture. So being fair nawh Legendary gets cooked tbh but one things for certain. . .
Godzilla wins
he forgets to mention legendary was prolonging the fight on purpose and keizer ghidorah is literally the strongest thing in the universe, and then he ended up ONE shotting said strongest thing in the universe

Honestly you're breakdown makes me think it's a lot closer than I thought it was going to be to begin with.
Then again I attribute the Marvel Comics Godzilla to the legendary Godzilla where he was fighting gods and literally pulling himself out of the afterlife and breaking through planes of existence.
yes
Why would you attribute marvel godzilla to me godzilla? They are 2 different kaiju?
@@Fins-Up-74 because Marvel Comics publish Godzilla comics well before Godzilla final wars was a thing
Tbf there is a crossover between MV godzilla and the justice league so that would scale him up even higher to what he has shown in the movies, considering he will be fighting the likes of superman and Wonder Woman.
@@karshinp7896 I don't remember that comic so now that you've mentioned that I must look it up. The, coast referring to was Godzilla king of monsters and came out few years before I was born sometime in the 1970s. I discovered around 1997 1998 when I was in school.
Depending on how you think about it. Throwing a 30,000 ton ksiju so far they pass the horizon at Godzilla's level of height may be a greater feat than pushing ghidorah or m prime. Mv godzilla tossed the male muto who weighed a little more than kumanga at 45,000 tons, but he only went a couple hundred meters away. In comparison to literal miles away fw godzilla threw kumanga, I would give strength to fw godzilla even in base. Btw if Keiser was the strongest ghidorah up to that point, that includes the rebirth of morhra ghidorahs. Des and grand ghidorah respectively. Both have planet+ feats and crazy speed feats. So if you take that into account, you can scale fw to far beyond anything the monsterverse has yet to show. Key word betting yet to show. I love mv g, he's my profile pic. But I don't think he would beat fw in my own opinion. Feel free to argue. I like debating
I agree with this
There's much more inherent evidence proving towards fw being the victor, there's plenty of anti feats and statements for monsterverse as well so that just further suits fw
I think it's easier to throw a spider at the end of a rope using centrifugal force farther with your arms than a heavier flying kaiju with the where withall to catch itself mid air with just your mouth.
Plus he threw adult Kong the same way and he went flying farther than the muto, probably because he had no way of stopping himself. Safe to say Mv could probably throw kumonga as far if he did it the same way FW did. FW lifted and tossed Kaiser after a potent amp, MV lifted a monster of the same or heavier weight at his weakest point in the series.
Fw still wins overall. But in terms of base form strength MV seems to have more of it, or at least an easier time putting it to use.
agreed
@smugreptile6695 fw did it from an awkward position which would require even more strength and he sent him over the horizon, monsterverse already had the muto in its Mouth mid flight and the muto is 15k tons
Adult kong would at best weigh 50k tons but probably closer to 40k tons, fw could more than likely toss another monster with his jaws as well there's also the feat with him slamming keizer ghidorah across the Map and sent other monsters flying with casual kicks
Monsterverse could not toss kumonga in the same fashion or the same distance as fw did theres not only any evidence to indicate he could but monsterverse is incapable of lifting other opponents due to his arms, fw didn't need the keizer energy to lift keizer ghidorah he only needed it replenish his forcibly drained energy
Monsterverse has actually nvr lifted another monster grabbed and shoved but not lifted; muto prime wasn't lifted she was out maneuvered by monsterverse by having him slide his back underneath her then blasted plus the back is stronger than the arms so that only makes fw look more impressive
Fw is physically stronger and has better striking and lifting feats than monsterverse and is much more skilled at utilizing it
@@BlackHeartRise Your right, the muto was only 15k. Still had the ability to catch itself mid air.
Fw had a completely unobstructed area and was in normal position. He was able to get a complete 360 throw in via a rope. Mv threw the 50k ton Kong off the ground with just his face and a half turn. The muto was also already ON his shoulders and face and had maybe a half turn to throw him. Mv had far more awkward throws than FW did.
Saying he only slid underneath Prime is an extreme disservice. Look at the comic panels. He charges her with both standing upright and hoists her onto his back using his arms to grab and lift her legs.
If you watch final wars Godzilla it seems he has some ability to adapt to attacks.
When monster X shot his beam burst at Godzilla the first time it brought him to his knees in pain but the second time Godzilla just walked through it
I have to give final wars godzilla the win, because the stamina didn't convence me much, the dude just got liberated and goes straight up to kicking asses and travel with no time to rest and even though his fight with kaiser gidorah wasn't long still the fact that godzilla wasn't tired, after all losing the fight to kaiser gidorah just because gidorah was stronger.
most of the kaijus he killed didn't even have a demonstration of power except gigan and keizer ghidorah, try scaling fw godzilla like that it's complicated
Guys guys we also have to talk about size it plays a big part so I have to give the win to zilla ye THAT zilla
@@brianvanenter7955 final wars g is is just 20 meters less is not a exaggerated diference.
@Gojimon the kaiju he did fight have been calced at being anywhere from mountain/island/country lvl some even making continental depending on the conditions

Both versions of Godzilla have exactly the power that the plot calls for. In the end, it's up to who is writing the movie. Legendary Godzilla is more grounded while Final Wars is almost "comic booky". But are great in their own take on the big murder lizard. Also, both are very well traveled.
Look no further than the 2014 Godzilla being much weaker than KOTM Godzilla where it feels like the combat helped him develop more as a fighter like Heisei Gamera
Annnnd that's why fw zilla would win 😂.
@@imtheonehero9305 If it was written by Toho. If it was written by Legendary, theirs would win. Like @anotherthing said, it depends on who is writing it.
I rly think Final Wars should have it in the bag since the entire point of this version was that he is Godzilla at his strongest while Legendary has still ways to go until he reaches his prime.
there isn't enough feats to say final wars can confidently win. He has only ever been shown in 1 singular movie. While MV was in 3 about to be 4 and has a few comics and a spinoff series. When it comes to kaiju like this size plays a major role in the fights, and MV is alot larger than FW, not to say MV will no diff him but he will def take the win considering he has had millions of years of experience fighting on top of using half his stamina, then fighting kong for 12 hours, then fighting mechanized version of himself which is designed to counter it.

Great video! It’s a lot closer than the thumbnail would suggest.
The only real point in gere that I take issue with is FW Godzilla’s stamina. He easily takes that stat.
I mean think about it: He woke up, fought Gigan then traveled over 8,000 miles to japan. During that time he had to make five pitstops to fight other monsters (some at the same time). Then when he got to his destination he had another fight where he fought Monster X and a restored Gigan before Mothra came to even the odds. When it became a one on one fight, Godzilla was still on par with Monster X. This took whole thing took at least 24 hours since it’s night in Sydney when he fights Zilla, day when he fights the other monsters and night again when he gets to his destination.
Compare that to Legendary Godzilla who swam to Hong Kong, burrowed through the earth and fought Kong.
He chased the mutos night and day, even Prime.
The fight in Hong Kong canonically went for 12 hours so… yeah.
@@YourMid740 FW Godzilla chased the Gotengo for longer and stopped for fights during that chase. One is doing a marathon and the other is doing a marathon while stopping for an MMA match and continuing the marathon right after.
Also, this lasted 24 hours at the minimum since it goes from night to day and back to night in that span of time.
@@spencerbrus6343 Dude Legendary Godzilla was already tired af from waking up and heavily weakened by the Muto EMP. Even then he was kicking their ass until they teamed up, that’s impressive. All FW did was best featless fodders, that’s all he did, it isn’t impressive at all.

Good video Chuck
Noted!
Thanks for ending this debate, Chuck. Heck, if final wars can absorb the same as legendary, then that's even worse.
I think Mv is getting undersold in the strength department.
FW lifted Kaiser after his amp, at his strongest. MV lifted Prime after taking an attack that shattered his dorsal plates and essentially knocked him out. And yet after only a moment, he got up and lifted a monster just as heavy as Kaiser during his weakest state we see him in. He was at his 2014 size and already heavily injured. Yet still pulled a similar feat of strength to the strongest version of FW.
Add the fact he bit an adult Kong in the arm and threw him the same way he did the male muto and MV seems like the solid winner of strength in base form. FW really shouldn't get in melee with him
Amped definitely still goes to FW though.
And Final Wars threw 30 thousand tons over the horizon (12 miles) and blasted 100k tons into space in seconds.
Why are you mentioning Legendary lifting the weight of *small* buildings when Final Wars has done this?
That is like saying “yes, he lifted a mountain, but also he can pick up a cotton swab.”
Seems redundant.
All it did was invite children to come on posting small-building feats as if they somehow make a difference. There is a reason informed G debators don't mention lifting kaijus: *they simply do not matter.* It just invites derailment from the actual point you are trying to make.
So pro tip: leave out the hundred thousand tonner stuff. It is peanuts, not even worth talking about. You have island to country level strength feats to work with…trillions of tons. Saves time to just focus on what matters. Do not waste your time by inviting the uninformed into an actual discussion.
Also Final Wars is not even close to the strongest Godzilla on film, that would be Heisei...who can lift 1.2 mile long islands and break through the Earths crust and sink down into the mantle.
So no, Legendary is not underrated in terms of strength he is overrated by children who have never seen another Godzilla film in their life.
@@justarandomhomosapienhere7169 So lets see. You seem to be confusing my point of physical strength with overall power, which I already mention Final Wars is more powerful. Especially after the amp he receives at the end. Lifting another monster who doesn't want to be thrown around is not the same as lifting a static building, especially during active combat. So "Redundant" to a comparison of base form physical lifting seems overly dismissive. Especially when one of the two is doing that far more frequently than the other, against heavier opponents.
Fw's throw of Kumonga is done through the use of a tool. Its the only time in the movie we see him use that kind of strength till after his Buff against Kaiser. And I would argue that he could not achieve the same feat without the same method(aka, he physically is incapable of throwing Kumonga that far by hand. Centripetal and Centrifugal forces are a thing). My comparison to legendary here is that he would likely hit similar results if the same method was used, and the feats mentioned were to back up that claim, since he was casually throwing a heavier monster in a far less efficient method. And just has similar feats in that specific regard. Note, similar. Not, the same.
I'd argue that lifting strength does matter in regards to kaiju. Not as much as say striking force, but certainly not useless. It would hardly matter if you could hit someone harder than they could hit you, if you can't even keep on your feet from getting constantly ragdolled the whole time by an opponent you can't ragdoll back.
Again, comparing the overall power output of their island to country level feats to just what they can do with their physical strength isn't the same. Final wars wins that comparison anyway. And neither of them are lifting Islands around with their arms.
Heisei G wasn't even mentioned in the topic. It was only Final Wars and Legendary being discussed, and Final Wars wasn't ever mentioned as the strongest version of the Godzilla character. Unless you are saying Final Wars counts as Heisei. Which I disagree to.
My comment here isn't instigating any debate between "uninformed children". So far Its just you saying a comparison of physical attributes is pointless when they could just nuke everything with other abilities. Its like you are completely dismissing the idea of a character having more nuance to them than how much they can destroy with their most powerful attacks. I'll give you a hint, characters are more than just their maximum potential and talking about actual differences in what they can do is half the fun of a debate, regardless of who "wins".
While I have seen a lot of bias for legendary since he came out, its too be expected of a younger or simply newer to the franchise audience as its likely their first, or favorite, introduction to the character. Calling people actual children because they don't share the same "informed" status as you do is a tad strange no? Would it not be prudent to invite them to an actual discussion to then INFORM them of what they may have missed? You know, make it a real discussion with multiple people looking at the data and forming opinions. Instead of just saying ah, they are uninformed, no point in discussing anything. It gives off weird Gatekeeping vibes.
The point I was originally making is that Legendary, in terms of physical strength, is not that far behind a pre amped Final wars. And that people shouldn't sell that version of the character short. That was all. At no point did I say Legendary was more powerful overall or he would win a fight between the two. If comparing a specific trait between two characters is pointless to you, then why are you even here watching a video of someone comparing the specific traits between two characters.
@@smugreptile6695 Not too sure why you are even defending this. Mentioning building level feats is objectively worthless. Saying Legendary could even come close to Final Wars in strength is laughably baseless. Nothing supports this at all.
Just off the top of my head, there was a feat where Final Wars Godzilla throws Hedorah kilometers into the sky, it lands against a building, then he throws Ebirah onto it, then uses an atomic breath to push Hedorah, Ebirah, and the building across the city, *dredging all 3 of them through the streets against all physics.*
This one feat alone is completely out of Legendarys league besides the Earth bore feat...which is *massively* overestimated. It is island level. *Very* low country level at best. 50m x 50m x 4000m
Final Wars ignored a city busting asteroid impact point blank, threw 30,000 tons over the horizon...12 miles away and several kilometers high and he blasted one of the strongest Ghidorah's ever (100k tons) into space in seconds...and then blew him up. Unlike the pathetic garbage that Monsterverse Ghidorah was. That thing was an actual joke. Easily the best looking and most embarrassing Ghidorah in all of history (so far, Hollywood is always ready to disappoint).
Legendary lifts monsters as heavy as buildings, and he gets wrecked in *every single film* by pitiful things like:
•Falling
•Falling buildings
•Getting *pushed into buildings* by Mechagodzilla (which is so low that it is virtually unheard of in the entire franchise)
•A giant gorilla that's weaker than him
•A bug monster 1/3 his size that can't survive an impact against a building…which, to something on par with even small nukes, is like you getting stabbed by a handful of shaving cream
•Somehow got choked out by an enemy so much weaker than itself that he previously casually plucked the poor things limbs off like a dandelion with no difficulty at all
•Screaming really loud at him broke his bones (MUTO Prime) which cannot be any higher than 194 db in Earth's atmosphere, after that, they just becomes shockwaves. Volcanic eruptions get that loud and some people want to talk about an extinction impact? Go sit down.
This is the level that Legendary *consistently* operates at.
The difference is clear.
And despite what other people would have you believe, destabilising a fault requires *comparatively* very little energy as opposed to moving the entire thing. All that's necessary is to displace a small amount of earth, literally a couple meters, and that releases pressure that displaces more earth that releases more pressure, and this repeats down the length of the fault at supersonic speeds. *That's what a supershear earthquake is.* It's a chain reaction. Nothing in the Monsterverse can move miles of fault line at once.
Oh and by the way...
Legendary is literally the only Godzilla in history besides Shin who gets tired. He has the 2nd worst stamina in the entire franchise.
*Most Godzillas don't seem to get fatigued from exertion, including Final Wars.* It's just not a thing that happens. I mean they hibernate, sure, but with most versions this seems more metabolically conservative than restorative since they'll snooze whether at full stamina just after a recharge or not. It's extremely rare in the franchise for a Godzilla to show some kind of stamina depletion from physical exertion alone…rather, they tend to get stronger throughout an event. A Godzilla at the end of the film is usually shooting stronger beams than earlier in the fight, damaging things they couldn't before. The only ones to ever get tired enough by their own means to suffer in combat are Shin and Legendary. I’m trying to remember if Showa did but I can't think of an instance where he was clearly exhausted and wasn't just dazed or concussed from getting his ass beat…but even he would just get up angrier and stronger somehow.
Speculation, but the reasoning for this is probably tied to the fact that Godzillas run purely on nuclear radiation. Most of the time they operate more like a battery than an animal with a recognizable metabolism, just falling into a sudden coma rather than gradually weakening. *They just turn off.* If they run out of enough energy to truely shut down then they're probably not getting back up at all until they get a good hit of some of that cancerous good-good. Heisei getting poisoned by cadmium, depleting his radiation, then nuked by Russians and waking up is a good example. Final Wars getting forcefully drained then recharged with Keizer energy is another. Both times, they shut down on the spot and just turned back on upon eating. *They're just batteries, like biological robots. They don't even poop.*
@@justarandomhomosapienhere7169 Once again you completely ignore the point I was making in favor of pointing out every feat they have like they all refer to physical strength. But since you are so determined to do so.
Blasting Hedorah into the sky with his atomic breath isn't a physical strength feat. Period.
Him throwing Ebirah is however, even though we don't see him do it on screen itself, the lack of atomic breath glow suggests a physical throw. Ebirah weighs 50k tons. Same as Mv Kong. So on par with Mv casually throwing 50k around. And what do we see? Ebirah doesn't go flying over the horizon.
Blasting them through the city. Also not a physical strength feat, thus not relevant to the point I was making. Moving on.
Mv Hollow earth breath is also not a physical strength feat.
Tanking the meteorite/ship is a durability feat.
Throwing Kumonga using a tool is something I already talked about. And look, you even proved my point further by mentioning how he threw the heavier Ebirah and they didn't go sailing over the horizon. Almost like having a tool attached to the spider and using Centripetal force increases throwing distance, which was part of the point I made in my first comment. Especially when the Kumonga is lighter than Ebirah by 20k tons.
Final wars lifting Kaiser is a strength feat, but this was after a power up, and since I was comparing base forms only, is set to the side here.
Blasting Kaiser into space is an atomic breath feat, again, not a physical strength feat.
Your opinion of Mv Ghidorah is noted, but not particularly relevant to the discussion.
Mv getting dropped from the upper atmosphere isn't an anti strength feat. Its just something he happened to tank. And 99k tons hitting reentry speeds should have wiped boston off the map
Having a building fall on you that weighs as much as another monster is also not an anti strength feat. Consider Monster x being only 5k heavier than Fw and grabbing him by the wrists and lifting him completely off the ground. Its not an anti feat for Fw, its just a strength feat for Monster X.
Godzilla has been shoved through buildings before, by a mecha godzilla even, and shown to have been affective at either temporarily stunning him, or trapping his dorsal plates in them and briefly immobilizing him. Its nothing new in the franchise. This is also a strength feat for Mecha Godzilla as he was able to overpower the 99k ton Mv Godzilla.
Kong is weaker than him, and what does the movie actually show? Kong hitting Godzilla a lot, and almost nothing to show for it. Mv got hit a bunch and still kept going. Kong got walloped once and was laid out about to die. While Mecha Godzilla beat the tar out of Mv and he still got right back up several time consecutively. This is a Mv durability feat.
The Male Muto abusing a weakness multiple Godzilla's share isn't really a dunk on Mv. Fw is one of the most agile of the bunch. Most others struggle with agile flying monsters. None of this was what I was talking about. Moving on.
Ghidorah's heads where casually matching strength with a 99k ton Mv Godzilla charging into them, and he only ripped one off after Ghidorah was essentially immobilized in the water due to his anatomy. This is a Strength feat of Mv Ghidorah's
Muto Primes Sonic roar wasn't about how loud it was, Mv's own roar can hit the 180 decibel range. Primes roar was tuned to the specific frequency that resonated in Mv's Dorsal plates to shatter them. Like a glass shattering when someone sings at the right pitch. His bones were fine. Because Prime was evolved to kill Mv Godzillas, and the dorsal plates are how they direct their atomic energy. That was the entire point of the Mutos as a whole. You can break solid stone with the same method, and theoretically almost anything can have this same weakness.
Heisei wasn't even brought up. I don't know why you keep mentioning his feats.
Mv was based on a slightly more animalistic take on the monster. The fact that he is an animal and can get tired is part of that. Stamina feats we already know go to Final wars. Wasn't being discussed, yet here we are. Showa also wasn't brought up, but I believe there was an instance where he needed to charge his energy with lighting. Not really a stamina issue though if I recall. Showa was a pretty scrappy brawler.
I do think your speculation here has some merit, but it also has nothing to do with my comment so. Not really needed.
Was that everything? Seems like everything. Do you understand the point my comment was making yet? Or are you still confused on what physical strength vs over all character power is? Cause I will once AGAIN say that Final Wars is going to win a fight with Legendary. But that is not what I am comparing between them. Understand yet?
Cause so far we have base Fw throwing a monster by hand and one were he throws them using a tool to gain distance. Mv hasn't used a tool to throw anything yet so theres not a direct comparison to that one. Just speculation. But it doesn't seem outside the realm of possibility since Mv has 40k tons of additional mass over Fw to add to his throw, should he ever get a monster on the end of a rope.
What we do have is Final Wars and Monsterverse throwing a 50k monster by their own physical power and what do we see? Fw throws Ebirah several hundred feet into Hedorah and a building with what we can assume is his arms or tail. And we have Mv throwing Kong several hundred feet into a building with nothing but his face. Seems to me, like we have comparable physical strength.
@justarandomhomosapienhere7169 I wanted to agree with you but because your acting like a dick in the comments (randomly calling people children because of an opinion) I’m just gonna leave this here and go debate with civilized people about a radioactive dinosaur.
final wars godzilla vs legendary godzilla would be like a fight between a really small and fast 16 year old gym rat and his drunk stepdad
If you think about it, the whole spamming atomic breath thing might not work for either since they both can absorb nuclear radiation and will just absorb it back and forth so it would actually come down to up close fighting.
Also I think flexibility should be a factor since FW Godzilla can only really walk forward, swipe, tail whip, and Legendary can fight like an actual animal like crawl on all fours, bite, claw, swing his tail.

What about the fact that no kaiju has ever pierced FW's skin and the only kaiju to actually harm him was Keizer Ghidorah, who like you said is extremely powerful. MV also has a weak spot (his gills), putting him at a disadvantage, because FW has no weak spots. Also, how does MV Godzilla get stamina? He got tired from fighting kong (yes he was already tired from blasting through the earth, but kong tired him out more), whereas Final Wars not only took on every kaiju in the world single-handedly without resting, he also walked/ran around the entire world within a few days, without getting tired.
answering some arguments: gigan managed to hurt fw godzilla, besides that fw godzilla I avoid the chainsaw in gigan's stomach during the fight, fw godzilla defeats several kaijus it doesn't help much if we have no idea of the power level of fw godzilla's opponents, mv godzilla he also traveled the whole world to destroy the apex facilities, and also mv godzilla not only made a tunnel to the hollow earth but according to gvk's novelization he also made a vortex to pull kong
@@TioGoji Gigan didn't hurt FW, he may have hit him, but he didn't pierce the skin, something that happens to MV Goji a lot. Even if we don't know their power level, they were still kaiju around the same size as Godzilla. Plus he managed to pull off some crazy coordination when fighting Anguirus, King Caesar and Rodan. MV Godzilla used the underwater tunnels to travel around quickly, so it would conserve more energy and allow him to move faster, whereas FW traveled the whole world on foot in very little time. While the beaming through the earth thing is a stronger feat, FW still blew up and tanked the explosion of Gorath
@@gojiberrii1261 Gorath was a hologram, it's not scalable, a kaiju doesn't need to pierce to show that it can hurt especially those who wear a costume, size doesn't mean power level, heisei godzilla is the same size as fw godzilla but heisei godzilla gives him one shot
@@TioGoji Allow me to clarify, the meteorite Gorath, which was very real. @@Bigcase09 uh, a city busting meteor couldn't kill FW Goji. So the only reason he would choose to blast it, is because the meteor is more devastating than that, and keep in mind that attack was initiated by Keizer ghidorah, one of the strongest versions of him, so I highly doubt that was only a city buster. FW Goji clearly nerfed it to city busting level, which is why only the city was destroyed. Based on the statements provided in this video, it would be a planet buster.
The fact that Godzilla's jaw is enough to lift Skar King with his whip across hundreds of meters is crazy against Godzilla FW's lifting feats too

Why Legendary Godzilla VS Final Wars Godzilla Isn't Close
To all the the people saying legendary Godzilla let me just say final wars Godzilla took on a whole ass meteorite, fought over 14 monsters and fought the most powerful being in the universe Keizer gadora and still won
For Legendary to win he would have to close the distance between FW Goji and not let up on his bear like style of brawling then using his atomic breath with the same level or higher amount he used to drill a hole in the earth. FW obviously isn't the underdog in this. It would be close given his fighting ability and power. I do think FW takes it 7/10 times though. Mostly due to his fighting ability, durability and obviously having arguably the most powerful atomic breaths of any Goji.
I appreciate this breakdown.
There are parts I don't agree with, but overall I think it's a fantastic example how a vs comparison should be handled.
I think this is an interesting matchup, pretty close match surprisingly, I knew final wars was always overscaled to shit in the powerscaling community, but man has he fallen pretty quickly recently if he's now in more or less the same league as legendary. I'm interested for the DC x Monsterverse crossover though, I don't know how strong the current DC superman is, but judging by the fact it is a comic, Godzilla's bound to have to throw hands with Superman.

Keizer Ghidorah is the 2nd strongest King Ghidorah.
1st place goes to Void Ghidorah.
MV King Ghidorah is heavier than keizer Ghidorah MV Godzilla is stronger fw gojira
MV Godzilla is faster but fw Godzilla is more agile
You might have forgotten the VERY short scene in Final Wars where Godzilla sent Ebirah and Hedorah flying out of Tokyo Bay with his beam, and then blew them away with another shot that also pushed along a building a good several miles away.
I'm not educated enough to estimate the mass of the building (I'm guessing less than Hedorah, judging from the size alone), but it's worth noting that official stats say Ebirah and Hedorah alone weighs 120,000 MT in total. Compare that to MVGoji who clocks up to 99643 MT, I'm fairly sure FinalGoji can easily knock him away, lets say with a fully charged beam just to be generous.
Even with that in mind, this fight took place after he demolished Rodan, Anguirus, and King Ceasar. Implying that he still had A LOT of energy to spare at that point.
Wouldnt you think neither godzilla could really win because they would more or less be trading energy to each other? Even standing around each other would put off so much radiation both would have ridiculous amounts of healing going on. The fight would probably never end.
Interesting theory, works only provided they are equals, I'd argue FW would consume more energy because his feats denand higher metabolism ... That doesn't mean he's stronger so
In KotM its a bit of an exaggeration to say Ghiderah "dodged" the atomic breath as it looked a lot more like he saw it coming and evaded seeing him rev it up.
another argument for final wars is that showa king Ghidorah was stated by the X aliens that he was the strongest of their weapons, including star level bombs, so yeah if that is indeed true you end up with a country to cintinent legendary and a star level final wars. OOF
Now im an fw stan and he is my fav godzilla but we do have to respect the fact that mvg is still growing so currently i think fwg solos mvg but we just have to respect that in a later movie mvg might do something that gives him a greater chance of winning.
Just gonna add to this, in Godzilla vs Kong when he fought mecha Godzilla he had already drilled a hole through the planets crust and bested Kong in a long battle that injured him a bunch as well. He was down like 90% when he fought Mecha, I have no doubt if they battled whe the big G was at 100% then poor Mecha would have got made into scrap after a similar level fight as his one with Kong.
Makes the statement "its not close" while providing evidence that it would indeed, be close.
Monsterverse Godzilla didn’t struggle with Kong it was stated he was Toying with Kong and barely trying

Dude, final wars Godzilla is so fucking anime I love it! Also, the super soldiers in the movie kinda remind me of the soldiers in kaiju number 8
Not trying to be that guy but the Super soldiers in final wars are aliens they are way more different than normal humans with suits on and yes i get that those ppl fight giant kaiju but they also have super advanced weapons made from those kaiju and stuff while the godzilla series does not
I feel like Final Wars would win, seeing as how he was able to fight 14 kaiju, with mostly his physical strength,
in one day, and kill almost all of them with only needing help for Monster X/Keizer Ghidorah, while also going across almost the entire Western side of the Pacific Ocean's coasts, and still have enough energy after all of that to try and fight the Gotengo and it's crew.
and also how his non-amped Atomic Breath being powerful enough to destroy a meteor that could have destroyed Tokyo.
I think final wars G has equal to if not greater stamina, the gotengo lead him to different locations to battle many kaiju before his final fight with gigan & ghidorah all without rest, imagine a man swimming for 2 miles then walking for 2 miles then fighting multiple people rinse & repeat. he only seemed to tire once ghidorah began draining his energy.
4:28 he has fought the mutos which counts as multiple enemies and he struggled a lot.
I think you should also put in the fact that legendary Godzilla was created to be realistic in looks and power and final wars Godzilla was created with no realistic ability that is synchronizing with reality so it just depends if both of them are created realistic in every aspect 😉🕊️
You also have to understand most of the monsters final wars fought had no feats at all they were basically fodder
Final Wars Godzilla definitely has the edge in stamina. The only reason he didn't last longer than Legendary Godzilla is because:
1. Kong is blatantly weaker than Keizer Ghidorah
2.Not only did he fought constantly while following the humans, but he got dogwalked by Keizer Ghidorah and had his energy drain.
Stamina was never an issue for Final Wars Godzilla. He definitely takes it.

There are some statements that might suggest that fun awards Godzilla in his base form could also defeat legendary Godzilla but keep in mind it's very tricky to say how exactly this goes down
First off it was said at one point that the oxygen destroyer does exist in the final wars timeline and that it was used on final wars Godzilla up but didn't work
However we don't know how powerful this version of the oxygen destroyer was
But if we were to take a guess and say that it was equal to the original oxygen destroyer then this would mean that fine awards Godzilla's durability and hence likely is a ap to some extent what scale from mid-to-high planet level
Is also the fact that it said that each monster is supposed to relatively share the same origins and past two their older counterparts
Wow thanks the guy in this most likely isn't completely true it's still possible that it's true enough that these monsters woodscale relative to the showa era
This wood at minimum make bass final wars low universal
But again this requires for some thought experiments and potential calculations that I can't necessarily fully confirm
Is also the fact that final wars Godzilla appears to have a clipping capability that allowed him to start off a fight weaker than monster x but then gradually grow stronger throughout the fight which means that potentially he could actually cliff monsterx
It's also possible that fun words was fighting for multiple days but it's tough to say for certain if he was just traveling the planet that fast that he outdid the rotation of the planet on foot and in water or if it had taken multiple days to get somewhere
So the high-end for final wars is already unstoppable at base if he is put into the legendary but again that would be the high-end capabilities
will love to see you make a heisei godzilla vs singular point goji video
Legendary Godzilla definetly gets this. Legendary can endure lost of dmg, with way superior physical strenght, durability, stamina and experience. Although FW will give him a struggle due to FW being faster, more mobile and knowing martitial arts, which will help FW in close combat.
In AMP'ed form, I still think Legendary beats FW due to him easily withstanding Ghidorah's gravity beams, while for AMP'ed FW, there are simply not enough feats.

You can tell he just likes legendary Godzilla more, the power difference in the monsters they fought is insane. One fought a universal threat and the other fought earth born creatures (besides king ghidora). Final wars wins no matter wich way you put it

Not to mention the male Muto was taking advantage of his body shape too. Mostly attacking him from behind since his hand or neck isnt long enough to grab him. Meanwhile female Muto was getting her ass kicked and would have died fairly quick. 2024 Godzilla would have easily defeat him with that large hand and lean body

I gotta say, i still think FW Godzilla still beats Legendary Godzilla Low Dif, and think about it like this, Legendary had trouble with two mutos at once after waking up, and FW took on an army of monsters after waking up only to get tired when he met his match (Monster X)
Lord only knows how Final Goji would be like regularly, not just woken up
the mutos had a greater demonstration of power than most kaijus from final wars, in addition to godzilla 2014 being inferior to g19 and g21, mutos also has the emp
@@LEVIA7HAN tell me some demonstration of the power of the kaijus that you mentioned that is really relevant
@@TioGoji Rodan being able to destroy a city just by flying through it, Anguirus being a living spiked bowling ball that can launch itself at insanely far distances for its size, King Caeser with absurd fighting skill and mobility literally being able to kick Anguirus like a ninja playing soccer as it's flying through the air at high speeds, only for Godzilla to easily dodge his attacks and toss him around, Hedorah which literally ripped one of Godzilla's eyes out and almost killing him in the past getting one shot by Final Wars Godzilla's Atomic Breath, yeah they're pretty relevant and definitely much stronger than the MUTOs.
@@LEVIA7HANif YOU don’t understand realism between Legendary and Final wars, then YOU’RE brain dead.
Just because the statements of final wars are true, doesn’t mean him strong.
@@TioGoji Not to even mention that Final Wars Rodan probably scales above MV Rodan, who was a pretty big deal in King of the Monsters, because it was flying so fast that missiles actively being shot at it would get blown up just because Rodan was moving so fast that the shockwave left behind him caused them to explode. And another feat for FW Godzilla because he was able to dodge him too
Legendary Godzilla looks like he was designed by committee. Then drank way too many beers for 18 months.
