Fun fact about dawn breaker. I learned that if you use a shout, unrelenting force worked for me, you can cause the sword to fly out of its pedestal so you can pick it up from the ground. After beating the boss, you can get it again from the pedestal it was knocked from, successfully giving you two Dawn Breakers
For the record, Windshear is the best one handed weapon, as the stunlock effect is literally unbeatable. Just have Windshear in one hand and enchant yourself a high damage weapon for your off hand and go to town.

Kinda late, but if you have Dragonborn(really hope you do at this point in time) then in one of the black books, there is a reward you get called “Companion Insight”. This makes it so shouts, spells, and attacks do no damage to followers when in combat, making it good when using Dawnbreaker.

To be honest I prefer the ones I make myself. I tend to maxout my smithing and enchanting and equip items/potions that I also made to even further enhance their effects. I then basically forge two one handed dragonbone swords and upgrade them to (beyond) legendary. And then duel enchant each with chaos & fire damage. (for those unaware chaos can do ether fire/frost/shock or all three each hit) So yeah I also maxout destruction magic so I get a better damage score for elemental damage.

Only way to make better gear is be a vampire/necromage. Makes enchantments on your gear stronger. That is if you don't just want to abuse the restoration glitch.
Windshear is objectively the strongest sword in the game, you can no-sell any enemy with it, no other effect comes close to being as cheap. Unless you disenchanted it and added its stagger with health absorption to something, if its possible.
what makes an enchantment unique is that it cannot be disenchanted. Some enchantment effects can be replicated, as in the case of the Nightingale, Chillrend and the pair of Scimitars.
9 years and I'm only finding out about windshear being stuck at the tip of that ship. I always assumed it was a reward for some quest I somehow missed or ignored in all my playthroughs and I somehow mistaken its enchantment for increased attack speed.
i found it by mistake my first few play thoughs my theory is it belong to the redguard questlines they scrapped before they released the game because its just randomly places there with non storyline attached to it they are the pirates and they use curved swords. 🤔
I think the GHOSTBLADE deserves an honorable mention here, as it is the lightest weapon in the game, ignores armor for extra 3 points per hit and doesn't require recharging. I know it's always in my inventory.
Bonus technique for Dawnbreaker. Kill the Necromancer before your character enters the room (with something like ranged attacks or summons). Save the game before you try this in case you get the timing wrong. Stand between the necromancer’s body and the pedestal. Loot Dawnbreaker off his body and immediately spin around to activate the pedestal before Meridia calls you back to her shine. You will end up with TWO copies of Dawnbreaker. Good for you and your follower to have matching weapons or for a dual wielding build.
Bro I got the dawn breaker sword and a few hours later I opened my inventory and there were two of them there for some reason. Now I duel weild them together and its pretty awesome.
Yeah I got this aswell when starting up a new run 2 days ago, but instead of one randomly spawning the boss at the end dropped a copy, but I could still pick up the original at the altar.

I exploited horses to get the master sword from throat of the world early, enchanted it with Soul Trap, and named it the fitting "Soul Sealer". Because the master sword scaled in power with my progression and also gave me free filled soul gems, I kept it around for quite a bit

Just sneak up on Miraak and with 2 stabs with handcuffs from brotherhood backstab double and one-handed weapons perk 15x it is a garanteed kill with the mehrune razor!
I really like to use maces because you can pull off consecutive power attacks as you can time it right so the mace does two power attacks in quick succession

Those are fun add in some other enchant (slow and paralyze are fun if you don't one shot them) add a poison to the weapon for added damage/effects and fire away.
Unofficial Patch lets you upgrade Nightingale Blade in any form and adds the Daedric Smithing perk to it. Should've mentioned that in the Video. I also think, out of any of the unique swords, this is the one that lets you win even the most difficult of fights.
I actually really like using the bound sword as a damage dealer considering you not only have the base damage of a daedric sword and it’s weightless but you also have the ability to trap souls with it AND if you get your conjugation high enough you can make it banish summoned atronachs and turn undead on stroking which is essentially having all 3 of those enchantments without needing to recharge any of them

dude legit the entire arch mage questline was a cakewalk, i hopped back on skyrim and loaded up my character from 10 years ago on the xbox 360 and was merking people
only problem with the nightingale blade is that you can put health absorb and stamina absorb on other swords. They will be less glitchy. Same with Chillrend. Aside from the blue glass sword skin, its Ice damage + Paralysis. Can be recreated pretty easily aside from the unique skin.
I remember when I was a kid playing this game, and I always equipped my shield thinking it was nothing better than extra armor rating, but my simple minded brain never though that if I focus on Health and Stamina, my shield blocks and attacks would be way more effective, but I wondered why would I always have to reload a save if I ever played above Adept difficulty
I'm currently using torment (30 points fire damage) level 82 legendary, and the stalhrim sword of ultimate Chaos (50% of all 3 elements at 30 point damage) level 69 legendary. ( non modded)
Use Dawnbreaker in the left hand and the Dawngaurd Rune Axe in the right. Make sure these weapons are in the aforesaid hands to get the fastest swing speed. This combo is really effective against all undead and even vs Dragon Priests!
My favorite one handed sword is an axe. Yes, you read that right. Dragonbone war axe with soul trap and frost damage. Or fire damage. or shock damage. I keep Dawnbreaker around for the lulz. EXPLOSIONS. For some reason, J'zargo keeps screaming "HELP ME!" when the explosions go off, which is funny in it's own right.
The one from one of the crypts where the chick bandit runs off and you have to find the stolen sword and kill "The Pale Lady" looks pretty nice. I haven't used the weapon yet. Did check to see if it could be DEd.
Fun fact: I once accidentally duplicated Dawnbreaker. I was running around dual weilding DAWNBREAKER. LIKE, HOW TF DID I EVEN DO THAT?! I miss that save file...
i literally just got 2 dawnbreakers about 2 days ago i always hear about it happening to other ppl just never to me but now it has and its time to cause some havoc! and i always get chillrend first on every playthrough before i do anything else
In terms of power Miraak's sword IS stronger, but Windshear's enchantment just makes it one of or potentially THE best sword in the game. The stagger effect happens with every normal swing 100% of the time and basically makes most fights trivial. I tested that with perfect swing timing, you can be surrounded by 14 enemies and not get hit by a single one due to the stagger. So yeah not the strongest, but anything you fight up close with, you will win against. It's not a matter of if they die, but when.
Cyrus' Sabre and Blackwater Blade. You can get them together in the same quest very immediately in the game. And swashbuckler clothes, enchantable scimitars.
*Uses exploits to make an iron sword the most powerful weapon in the game* City Guard: What are you cutting with that sword, butterflies? Me: You tell me.
best enchanted sword. Get that unique metal from Dragonborn DLC. Make a sword out of it. Smith it up to level. Put Chaos enchant on it. Then Drain Health. Buff all 3 destruction damage perks (2x fire, 2x ice, 2x lightning) and all of these damage buffs will be applied to the Drain Health. Will also be buffed by the increased frost damage by the sword itself.
You can also craft armor to enhance your blacksmithing and increase the enchantment effect of the blacksmithing using enchantment potions. But make armor to enhance your alchemy, its a bit round about but you can make really powerful weapons

I like dawnbreaker because of how easy it is to obtain and its easiness to level up as well of its affectiveness and versatility
The explosion is also really satisfying whenever it happens lol
dude legit the entire arch mage questline was a cakewalk, i hopped back on skyrim and loaded up my character from 10 years ago on the xbox 360 and was merking people
Good video Cadeos Generals. My favorite sword to use out of the five Chillrend. It’s soo much fun freezing enemies.
I like down wielding Grimsever and Chillrend together. They're almost identical, but I think the set looks nice together.
Hey you didn't mention the pail blade . Thanks for the video i enjoyed it...( my fave 3 dragon bain /Nightingale/ the pale blade)
Fun fact if you put a strong enough explosion behind the Dawnbreaker while it’s in its pedestal, you can hit it out and get two Dawnbreakers
No way. I’ve never heard that before. Oh wait, it’s only the 12th time so far while scrolling the comments.
only problem with the nightingale blade is that you can put health absorb and stamina absorb on other swords. They will be less glitchy.
Same with Chillrend. Aside from the blue glass sword skin, its Ice damage + Paralysis. Can be recreated pretty easily aside from the unique skin.
Is paralysis an available enchant tho?
@@willkershisnik5893 pretty sure it was. If not there were paralysis poisons you could make.
@@Kos4Evr the enchantment isn’t tho and potions have to be constantly brewed
@@willkershisnik5893 i have looked it up and you can put a paralyze enchantment on your weapons
@@Kos4Evr yeah but should be noted you can not disenchant chillrend itself
I remember when I was a kid playing this game, and I always equipped my shield thinking it was nothing better than extra armor rating, but my simple minded brain never though that if I focus on Health and Stamina, my shield blocks and attacks would be way more effective, but I wondered why would I always have to reload a save if I ever played above Adept difficulty
see dawnbreaker in the video
My brain - *A NEW HAND TOUCHES THE BEACON*
I'm currently using torment (30 points fire damage) level 82 legendary, and the stalhrim sword of ultimate Chaos (50% of all 3 elements at 30 point damage) level 69 legendary. ( non modded)
Unique uniques is a very sweet mod that could easily take up half the list just on looks alone. Drgonbane looks so sweet.
Use Dawnbreaker in the left hand and the Dawngaurd Rune Axe in the right. Make sure these weapons are in the aforesaid hands to get the fastest swing speed.
This combo is really effective against all undead and even vs Dragon Priests!
I'm a duel wielder do I would use blood scythe and soul render.
I feel like this type of video has been made like 2 billion times
Also, i like to start with a bow, switch to Magick when enemies get close, then go to two handed sword. I almost only use Magick on animals.
The one from one of the crypts where the chick bandit runs off and you have to find the stolen sword and kill "The Pale Lady" looks pretty nice. I haven't used the weapon yet. Did check to see if it could be DEd.
If you use unrelenting force on the dawn breaker there’s a small chance it goes out of the hilt so you can pick up two dawn breakers
On my modded i use dawn breaker and the sword you get from mjoll the lioness quest line with 40 % increased speed and 20 damage
Anybody notice that the glass sword on skyrim looks like the crystal sword in Diablo 2?
Windshear is my favorite sword ragdoll mechanics in bgs games are always fun af
He's REALLY good at being descriptive but not giving the unnecessary details like the chillrend description ... 👍👍👍
My favorite by far is the 1h mace you get in Markarth, from that alter. So dope
My favorite one-handed sword is the incinerate spell
For a long time I was using Dawnbreaker but recently switched to Harkan’s sword from the vampire quests.
Hey Codas Genitals, I love the series. Really useful for making my next Skyrim build
Fun fact: I once accidentally duplicated Dawnbreaker. I was running around dual weilding DAWNBREAKER. LIKE, HOW TF DID I EVEN DO THAT?! I miss that save file...
Well done on another great condom's countdowns video.
i literally just got 2 dawnbreakers about 2 days ago i always hear about it happening to other ppl just never to me but now it has and its time to cause some havoc! and i always get chillrend first on every playthrough before i do anything else
Radio geneosis
I was able to get them Special Curved Swords. As well as that Special Armor too. These are awesome if your having the means of using dual swords.
The strongest sword is the one you make with smithing, potion, enchants, items +% improves
*Uses exploits to make an iron sword the most powerful weapon in the game* City Guard: What are you cutting with that sword, butterflies? Me: You tell me.
@@arcatheanti-god7429 iron sword nahhh thats to weak now a toy wooden sword now thats something
best enchanted sword.
Blades Sword in Riverwood’s Inn. Secret basement room on weapons rack above chest.
How the hell was he able to stand at the dragons head slashing it without getting turned into a dragon chew toy and flung across the dunes?
He was explaining how while doing it lol
You can also craft armor to enhance your blacksmithing and increase the enchantment effect of the blacksmithing using enchantment potions. But make armor to enhance your alchemy, its a bit round about but you can make really powerful weapons
When will we get fallout 2 playthrough, Ceado?
I think I missed the chest where the Dragonbane was, but I found it later on inside Riverwood's tavern, in Delphine's hideout hanging on the wall
I use the ebony sword love the life steal
the swing speed and low carry weight are nothing to sneeze at either.
I like to wield the bloodscythe + soulrender duo because the plethora of magical effects are pretty devastating to enemies.
666th viewer, Idk what I did to deserve this. I was an alter boy for Pete's sake.
The Dawnbreaker has been my favorite and all time use since the day I found it
Right know my weapon is ebony war axe it does 57 Dmg and drains opponents health by bleeding and 10 magic dmg shock its a great weapon
6:45 bro he held his butt 🗿
Btw unless you have unnoficial patch Nightingale sword (maxed) won't be able to upgrade
Is there a way the upgrade the Max level nightingale, With Mods on ps4
@@MartijnvanderHage idk do you have unnoficial patch on ps4? Otherwise you could download some nightingale revamp mod maybe it'll fix it but idk
No i dont, have to do Some research for the mod
