Life saver - thanks. I bought the nylon panniers and rails for my T100 and without this video I really wouldn't have had a clue. There's no installation instructions, and being a DIY numpty I couldn't see how the things fitted. As it is I'm going to get some help to fit them!
Nice looking saddlebags. Thanks for posting this. The only different thing that I did was to put the washer between the rail and the shock so that the rail didn’t damage the shock.
Can you say anything about passenger comfort. It looks like they get pretty close to the passenger foot pegs and might cause an issue. Great video, thanks!
The Triumph saddlebags are extremely expensive and NOT waterproof! Triumph will gladly sell you cheap covers for $35 each! The saddlebags can't be secured to the racks and can't be locked! They have a weight limit of only 3 kg! Triumph also deleted the small [velcro] paddle and reflectors.
Hey! I’ve been looking for the same types of bolts and washers that you’re working with at 1:35-1:45, since I didn’t get any with the OEM pannier I ordered. Do typ know where to get those exact ones?
If you want Triumph specific bolts and sleeves they are parts: T3331234 (bolts) and T9910908 (sleeves) I bought mine from Triumph Cleveland, but an internet search will probably give you other sellers as well.
How have they held up 🤷♂️🤷♂️ my buddy had them and after a year they were not holding up well. I think I’m going to go with the SW-Moto legend series so I can put them on other bikes in the future. 👍👍👍 ride safe 😁😁
YOu've probably ridden more with them on...they are more for looks than functionality on mine...they are great from around town etc...but I can see where they will start to fail if I rode this bike more...I haven't even had it in the rain...hahah!!!
I LOVE this video because Triumph is driving me crazy; or maybe it's the other way around. LOL. They say the 'olive' panniers are NOT for the T120 but rather for other models. You got them on so did you specify the rails for the T120 or take the ones for the Thruxton? After seeing yours I don't want the Black ones. Ohio...COLD (35 miles SW of Cincinnati) Thanks, Alan

The Bracket for the bike came with the Panniers...check this site out at World of Triumph - great folks to deal with - little pricy because on the other side of the pond...but they have everything!!!! - good luck...I'm north of the city...so maybe run into one another....let me know..thanks!

Thanks - pretty easy to do...the tough part finding these particular bags...good luck and thanks for stopping by!!!!
Man that looks so easy. Mine just came in for my Street Twin. I hope I have it that easy.
They were..it's making sure you have the under the seat bracket that was hard to find last year...good luck and thanks for the comments!!!

Heya Matt ! Those bolts that you used at 1:20 seconds to clip the top piece. Do they come with the bike or with the panniers package itself ?
The bolts came with the panniers....hope this helps..thanks!!
@@lifesjourneyat50 Cheers bro ! it really did help ! gonna be installing it today

I love your motorcycle mirrors on the Bonneville! What’s it called?
Thank you....The mirrors are the Triumph Classic Bar End mirrors - A 9630716....World Of Triumph.com
@@lifesjourneyat50 thank you! It looks amazing.
Simple but it would help if your camera angle was on the other side because you are blocking the view when you are installing the pannier
Nice elbow, I have no idea of how they are installed, but nice view of your elbows.
That's us amatures for you...haha....duly note....thanks!!!...
Matt, I've heard that the foot peg bolt has a tendency to get lost? :)
Hahaha.....you funny guy...thanks!!!

You need to close them correctly
NOT PRACTICAL AT ALL !!!!!!!
Help me understand - Not practical at all...the video, the bags etc...it helps me for future videos...thanks!!!
they will also come in handy if the bike is ever dropped, it will possibly protect the back fender and lights.
@@christiankrippler9162 I hope that doesn't happen...haha...but great point...thanks
