Firstly, thank you so much for your kind and lovely words 💚 I've had some unpleasant videos made about me, so when I heard there was a reaction video, I thought, ohh nooo 😄 But I could not have been more wrong about that. You are both so friendly and entertaining and I'm so glad you enjoyed my lil vid It's funny, I love filming and making these videos so much, but once I've published them I tend not to watch them again, uncomfortable watching myself I guess. But actually I loved watching this back with you guys and experiencing it again. I live in Fife, Scotland. We have much lighter nights in Scotland at this very time of the year than in England. At midnight here in Fife it was still light.. Usually, at around 0130 in the morning, it is as dark as it's going to get. And even then, it's still a good bit of light across the skies...
a bit further north here - lake district ... we get very little total darkness in midsummer, with clear skies.... never get tired of it ...North Wales does it as welll of course ...... so many gems
Never been to that part of Snowdonia, but I have been up Snowdon and the surrounding peaks, and it is a beautiful area. You can even get the train up to the summit if you want! Fantastic video!🤩

So glad you both found, and showed this guys. I grew up near here and did exactly this walk and it was as beautiful as you believe. Of course it was raining a lot! Its also so amazing in the snow
So late at night, and still light. It's true. Britain isn't inside the arctic circle where the daytime can last for more than 24 hours, but for a time in the height of summer, and with clear skies, the sunset can last until after 10PM at night. - and be light again before 6AM, too.

I did once get caught in a thunderstorm on the summit of Carnedd Llewellyn, and lightning did strike a neighbouring peak. It was a scary experience and she was right to come down to camp. Four hours walking around Horsehead Pass in the Yorkshire Dales yesterday. That was lovely too, especially the Yockenthwaite Stone Circle next to the River Wharfe.
People will always try to boost thei rown part of the world,England, Wales, N Ireland Scotland, Yorkshire whatever; It's natural to do so; but I do hope the people of the UK as a whole, just reconcile themslelves to the fact that beauty adorns over ALL these blessed islands of UK, and let us be thankful for that! It is for the visitors to our islands to decide which they like more than others!
My son is at Bangor University which is right next to snowdonia. He walked up Snowden twice last week and had a dip in a lake on the way down. The University rowing team often use the lakes for training. Lovely.
Thank you Ladies for sharing the adventure, remember try and make the rest of your life the best of your life, and you are right. There is always a way.
My bestie at school (who is Welsh) and I spent several summer weeks camping out in Eryri (the proper name for Snowdonia - it means "the place of the eagles"). This was when we were 10 to 13 yrs of age. Sure, it rained. However, back then (1960-63) it was easy to have days seeing nobody else, provided we avoided Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). Today, however, this would be impossible. Popularising a great get-away now results in it no longer being a get-away at all, but just another crowded hellhole. 😢
Absolute rubbish. Eryri/Snowdonia is far from a crowded hell hole. It depends when and where you go. If you go and climb Snowdon on a Bank Holiday, then more fool you. If like me you go on an innocuous Mon/Tue, etc, it is completely deserted. Even the 'tourists' hotspots are totally bereft of people. Your comment is very ignorant.
Thank you for using the proper names, I appreciate it 🙏 Just to add to what you said, Eryri, being the native name for Snowdonia, is mistranslated in modern terms due to how the Welsh language has been butchered by those with an agenda, but that’s a whole other topic, lol, so as much as you are stating what some sources translate it as, due to Eryr being the word for Eagle, the beauty of the Welsh language is, many Welsh words have multiple meanings depending on context and Eryri also refers to Shingles and what is precipitated or thrown out violently, an eruption. Eryri is an appellation of the mountainous part of Arvon, due to them being made back when Snowdon was a volcano, so Eryri refers to the eruptions from Snowdon that formed the landscape. Yr Wyddfa means the place of knowledge/presence, a place where bardic meetings took place, a place to teach, essentially a bardic church, the higher you were the closer to the heavens you were and so easier to connect spiritually. There is also a connection with the area and the zodiac, the landscape in the area is essentially a star map. The ”heavens” were extremely important to the culture back in the day
It's not impossible, social media over the last decade has concentrated tourism to such a small area that vast areas of Eryri are quieter than I've ever known them and I've lived here for 53 years, the Carneddau where this video was filmed is a massive mountain range and super quiet these days, you can traverse the whole range from North to South which is 18 miles and only pass half a dozen people.
I can’t count the times we’ve had holidays and breaks in Snowdonia and surrounding areas, we’re so lucky to be just over an hrs drive away, I never get sick of Wales ❤❤❤ love you two by the way❤
This is beautiful! I love North Wales, was looking at moving there at one point (and learning Welsh fully of course). Currently having a pit stop on a walk in the Peak District in South Yorkshire and watching this 😁 Planning on trying to do the coast to coast in 10 days or less to raise money for a veteran’s charity
What an amazing video. ladies. I'm so lucky to be living in North Wales. As I wonder along the beach or look out my bedroom window. I'm able to view the mountains of Snowdonia. Spent many hours driving around those mountains. Walking the dogs along some of its paths. Never gets boring. The views are stunning.
The UK really has the most stunningly beautiful scenery of so many sorts. The coastlines, the mountains, the fens, the rivers, the islands... we really take it for granted - everything is so green and lush! And the hedgerows - no country looks the same from the air! Just spectacular!
You should read the books by Raynor Winn. It’s about how when her husband was diagnosed with a neurological illness they went on a 600 mile hike along the coastal path of southern England. Much to his doctor’s amazement his illness improved. Im not saying he’s cured but after 5 years and more hiking he’s still going. He recently walked the London Marathon. It took him 8 hours.
Your own country in the USA has scenery as good as we do, and often better. You've got a big place. What makes the UK special is that we have such a variety of beautiful scenery within a few small islands.
When lived in Devon I used to wild camp on Dartmoor often, when the day trippers go home you can be totally alone in many locations. My wife used to live in a cottage on the high moor not far from the once infamous prison. I heard wild camping is now banned in that national park, however at 100 sq miles, there are places where nobody goes for weeks.
literally just came across your channel in the last few days, i am a British social worker and your videos have been getting me through my assessment writing days, is so funny to see your expressions and wonder about stuff we just take for granted here, garden centres, Wales, the Lake District, Walkers crisps, Marmite, canal boats!! And in fact these videos so so much more these videos do not show you as most are the main touristy stuff, you guys are so much fun and helping me get through my working day just watching your discovery of this place i call home :)
I've not seen you two in a long time (not been on youtube) good to see you, and as you were showing a Clare Wildbear video, it was a bonus... She's the most inspiring wild camper out there with a huge following - she's so soothing - I always feel teary and emotional watching her doing what she does. Thank you both.
Snowdonia is stunning. I live in the Lake District, so appreciate the outdoors. I've done the 3peaks Scafell Snowdon and Ben Nevis. These videos are beautiful, thank you girls ❤️ You have to go a long way to find countryside like ours in the UK
Love watching your reactions to Claire’s video. She is amazing courageous person. I’ve watched a lot of her videos but alone. Your running commentary is basically what is going through my head while I’m watching. Thanks.
There is one slight draw back to wild country camping and something that all the National Park Authorities are insisting on and enforcing: You leave nothing but footprints. Everything that you carry in with you, you carry out with you! They DO mean EVERYTHING!
Take several thick, sealable plastic bags, and a larger 'dump sack' for everything recyclable, and a second large bottle or liquids bag. On leaving parks, there are often recycling points.
Drawback? It's not national park authorities. It's everywhere, It's the proper wild camping fraternity "leave no trace." Persons leaving a trace give us a bad name and will spoil it for us
My wife and I were in north wales last weekend, and it was amazing and so beautiful driving through the mountains. We just wanted to stop at every single place, it was so beautiful.
I live in Scotland and have been following Claire for a while now , she is great and has many more adventures for you both to love , you felt just as all her followers feel when we go on a wee journey with her 🏕
The Welsh Countryside is so beautiful, like the Peak District and the Lake District in England or the Highlands of Scotland. We are so lucky with the freedom to roam laws in our Country's.
I`m lucky in that I can take the dogs out in the morning and look across fields and small villages and see the sun rise behind the Snowdonia range. Once seen never forgotten.
Among the many things I love about my country is the countryside, Even where I live which is quite rural with beautiful countryside that goes on for miles, I’m very close to the Welsh Border so I get the best of English and Welsh countryside some of which is extremely beautiful, I really hope when you both visit that wherever you go here you experience our countryside and wild spaces, It’s amazing when you think of it for a small Island like ours that we have so much space to explore and enjoy, And to anyone else wanting to visit our open, wild and beautiful places I say welcome and enjoy then take your memories and adventures home and share them with those you love.
Stunning video, beautiful scenery - makes me want to escape there myself, and I'm not the outdoors or camping type myself. Never knew this existed just 'up the road' from me - may have to take a trip there some time. :)
Did a lot of hiking when I was (much) younger, including part of the Cambrian Way. Fairly sure we went past Aber Falls. Got caught out in the open on one occasion; heavy hailstones, almost horizontally. We had to stand with our backs to it, so that it hit our packs.
I wild camp a lot. Never had any issues. As long as you don't make a mess and leave the place as you found it, most people don't mind campers on their land.
Theres a "slate trail" you can do there that takes you round the mining hot spots for slate from many years ago. You can see the old derelict ruins of the buildings the slate miners lived in
Ah, I have been to Snowdonia. I haven't seen much of the world, but Snowdonia is my favorite place. Rolling green hills, mountains, streams and rivers Small cities and quaint little villages. . And my favorite, plenty of castle exploring.
This is where I grew up on the coast with Eryri (Snowdonia) as the backdrop view from my home and school. Wednesday afternoon was when we did sport at school, and some of us would be taken up into the mountains to hill walk. All my US family (18 states and counting) have their roots here.
I thought I'd take a quick look before getting my coffee to watch the rest. Didn't happen. I was mesmerized to the very end. Now I'll go make that coffee with a big smile on my face!
I've just returned from a holiday in a cottage just outside Porthmadog, by Black lake. The countryside i s really that stunning. One thing you can't understand on the video is how fresh and clean the air is.
Natasha, if you’re planning on doing any hiking and/or climbing, plgrt Real walking poles to help you. Also, you should have a back brace. I have one and it’s great. Mine was free, but maybe if you get a prescription for it from your doctor, hour’s would be covered by your insurance??
Ive been to snowdonia tried to go up snowdon but weather turned quickly so had to come back down went all the way up another one next day truly beautiful area

I live about 3 miles from Aber Falls and the mountains are up behind my village. Claires films are brilliant, i love seeing her having her adventures just up the road!
So glad you both found, and showed this guys. I grew up near here and did exactly this walk and it was as beautiful as you believe. Of course it was raining a lot! Its also so amazing in the snow
That was another amazing video ladies the scenery was beautiful we are so lucky to live in the beautiful uk everywhere in these lsles are stunning ❤️
So late at night, and still light. It's true. Britain isn't inside the arctic circle where the daytime can last for more than 24 hours, but for a time in the height of summer, and with clear skies, the sunset can last until after 10PM at night.
- and be light again before 6AM, too.
Natasha and Debbie,,I'm 58 year old divorced man, living on my canal boat in nature,,I really enjoy watching you too,,I just love your genuine authenticity,, keep up the good work ladies, thank you 🙏👍🌈✌️✌️🇬🇧
And that's why they call Wales Gods own country! 🙏🙏...its my favourite place on the planet!..❤❤..watching Debbie wipe away tears at the same time I was doing the same ..that was so Incredibly emotional
That title has already been claimed by Yorkshire, personally, I think Scotland is the rightful heir, it’s closer to him (Ben Nevis)✌🏻
Thank you ladies. Great video. We are so lucky here to be surrounded by such beauty and because our island is so small so easy to get to these places.
My son is at Bangor University which is right next to snowdonia. He walked up Snowden twice last week and had a dip in a lake on the way down. The University rowing team often use the lakes for training. Lovely.
What makes this so great apart from sheer beauty is there are no animals to kill you.
Adders everywhere , could possibly kill you 😉
Thank you Ladies for sharing the adventure, remember try and make the rest of your life the best of your life, and you are right. There is always a way.
Was lucky to have visited Aber falls a few weeks ago, just stunning and you can feel the energy flow through you, amazing!
Thank you for using the proper names, I appreciate it 🙏
Just to add to what you said, Eryri, being the native name for Snowdonia, is mistranslated in modern terms due to how the Welsh language has been butchered by those with an agenda, but that’s a whole other topic, lol, so as much as you are stating what some sources translate it as, due to Eryr being the word for Eagle, the beauty of the Welsh language is, many Welsh words have multiple meanings depending on context and Eryri also refers to Shingles and what is precipitated or thrown out violently, an eruption.
@@markjones127 Agreed and mid-Wales is largely forgotten and mostly deserted. You can drive for an hour on some back roads and not see another car.
Yes Snowdonia is a national park and the scenery is always amazing even In the worst weather
Wow
I have followed Claire from the beginning of her journey. She is a remarkable young woman!
We can see that just from this one video
I can’t count the times we’ve had holidays and breaks in Snowdonia and surrounding areas, we’re so lucky to be just over an hrs drive away, I never get sick of Wales ❤❤❤ love you two by the way❤
This is beautiful! I love North Wales, was looking at moving there at one point (and learning Welsh fully of course). Currently having a pit stop on a walk in the Peak District in South Yorkshire and watching this 😁
Planning on trying to do the coast to coast in 10 days or less to raise money for a veteran’s charity
We're so lucky in the UK, just so many gems on your doorstep. You're right, Claire is inspirational.
This is why we in the UK defend our Isle with so much passion and ferocious patriotism.
a lot of us know the land owns us, we are part of it, and respect it with our lives,
Been to London lately ?
What an amazing video. ladies. I'm so lucky to be living in North Wales. As I wonder along the beach or look out my bedroom window. I'm able to view the mountains of Snowdonia. Spent many hours driving around those mountains. Walking the dogs along some of its paths. Never gets boring. The views are stunning.
Absolutely beautiful, I’m so glad I live near the countryside and the coast.
Fantastic!
So glad to see she is a responsible camper using a gas stove in warm weather we lose to many acres to wildfires.
I think we all enjoyed the beautiful ..... waterfall
literally just came across your channel in the last few days, i am a British social worker and your videos have been getting me through my assessment writing days, is so funny to see your expressions and wonder about stuff we just take for granted here, garden centres, Wales, the Lake District, Walkers crisps, Marmite, canal boats!!
"So much beautifulness"? We just say" Beauty".
I LOVE her attitude. This is what I want to do. I would live out there.
That’s not a drawback it’s the best advice.
Drawback? It's not national park authorities. It's everywhere, It's the proper wild camping fraternity "leave no trace." Persons leaving a trace give us a bad name and will spoil it for us
Cracking vid Ladies, Thanks.
Thank you kindly!
As Natasha
would say that was epic
Yesssss!!
My wife and I were in north wales last weekend, and it was amazing and so beautiful driving through the mountains. We just wanted to stop at every single place, it was so beautiful.
This is close to my doorstep. A 20 min journey in any direction takes me to many different mountains in Snowdonia!
I live in Scotland and have been following Claire for a while now , she is great and has many more adventures for you both to love , you felt just as all her followers feel when we go on a wee journey with her 🏕
Her videos are amazing, she camps out all over the UK.
I love your reaction to this video, you must come to the uk and experience it for yourselves❤
Fantastic video ladies, loved it... very relaxing after a day covered in dirt building
That was brilliant, thanks for sharing Natasha and Debbie!
Glad you enjoyed it!
The Welsh Countryside is so beautiful, like the Peak District and the Lake District in England or the Highlands of Scotland. We are so lucky with the freedom to roam laws in our Country's.
That was beautiful ❤
WALES is absolutely breathtaking ❤
Amazing video Natasha & Debbie 🥰🥰🥰
Just enjoy nature and make time to relax. Have the best life you can have.
Love your quote at the end, will try and remember that. Inspirational video, thank you!
Wow what a woman.....and a great review guys...enjoyed this one
How good is this video she's brilliant
You need to go to Glencoe area of Scotland. That is beautiful too but not in the height of summer or you a bitten alive. Fantastic scenery.
Trying to find a video
Stunning video, beautiful scenery - makes me want to escape there myself, and I'm not the outdoors or camping type myself. Never knew this existed just 'up the road' from me - may have to take a trip there some time. :)
Go for it!
You can see the old derelict ruins of the buildings the slate miners lived in
She called them blueberries but they were winberries, common amongst the rolling hills of Wales
I am welsh and have lived hear all my life. Wales is truly a beautiful country
Ah, I have been to Snowdonia. I haven't seen much of the world, but Snowdonia is my favorite place. Rolling green hills, mountains, streams and rivers Small cities and quaint little villages. . And my favorite, plenty of castle exploring.
Thanks guys we will now follow her as well 😁
Welcome to my homeland! I am lucky to have been born and still living in North Wales 🏴
This is where I grew up on the coast with Eryri (Snowdonia) as the backdrop view from my home and school. Wednesday afternoon was when we did sport at school, and some of us would be taken up into the mountains to hill walk. All my US family (18 states and counting) have their roots here.
Everything Claire films is perfect. It is a joy and a pleasure to see her every adventure!
What an stunning video ladies really enjoyed every minute of it
Glad you enjoyed it ❤
I love Snowdonia and North Wales in general. The beaches, especially on the Llŷn peninsula, are wonderful.
Ive been to snowdonia tried to go up snowdon but weather turned quickly so had to come back down went all the way up another one next day truly beautiful area
Your reactions to the beauty of the UK, my home, always puts a smile on my face.
Cheers :)
You should definitely visit the UK if you haven’t already. If you love the outdoors I would highly recommend the North west of England. The Peak District, Lake District and North Wales are all within a couple of hours drive.
