They way I literally could NOT put down the 7 husbands of Evelyn Hugo when I started it. I highly recommend 'A good girl's guide to murder' by Holly Jackson and 'You'll be the death of me' by Karen McManus if you like mysteries but the characters still have a lot of personality and are really relatable.

I literally just finished The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo yesterday and I am still so speechless. It’s so well written easy to read and the plot the story the characters. Not only did the author almost constantly maintain the suspicion of the story the development of the characters throughout the story was so good. I was constantly on the edge. I finished it so fast. That’s how good it was. Started the year very strong. Hope to read more books this good. This book will most definitely be in my top 5 for the coming time!

My favorite book of 2021 is probably "The Song of Achilles." It broke my heart into a million pieces and I've been crying about it since I finished it. I have a soft spot for greek mythology and homosexual-romance books so this was the perfect read for me! My native language isn't English, but I find that English books just sound more "poetic" and so sometimes it was a little hard for me to read, but I understood everything and love the storyline endlessly. I'd recommend it to anyone who loves sad, tragic but absolutely beautiful written books!!

My favourite books of 2021 book recomendations: ✨
*Pachinko by Min Jin Lee- follows a fictional Korean family in Japan during the Japanese occupation of Korea. It is so moving and the characters and story has followed me throughout all of 2021. (Historical fiction)
*Every Last word by Samantha Mc Allister- a really well written YA story of a girl with OCD and a poet club. The characters are so relatable and you will find yourself falling in love with the love interest ;)
    * We Were Liars- YA story about a rich white family who spends their summer on a private island. The family has many secrets but all seems to go great until one summer there's an accident. We follow the main girl through the story while she tries to discover what happened and why no one wants to tell her.
    * Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein- also historical fiction. Follows two women who are best friends and both fight in world war two (in different ways). One of them is captured by the Gestapo (no spoiler) and has promised to write down everything she knows about the British military. This book has so many turns and twists- a real page turner
    Read them! haha

I’d HIGHLY recommend reading The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood. It’s my favorite book that I’ve ever read at the moment and one of those books that left me “wanting to cut off off my right big toe to read for the first time again”. It’s a total rom com, had me laughing out loud while binge read it in barnes & noble for 4 hours with no breaks.
Basically, Olive is a student in a Stanford PhD biology program and she hasn’t had the best luck with relationships. She lied to her friend about having a new boyfriend and when she sees that she’s unexpectedly at the lab while Olive is supposed to be on a date, she kisses the first stranger she sees to cover up. Turns out that stranger was the most “ruthless and harsh” professor in the biology department Adam Carlsen. He agrees to start fake dating to continue the act up with Olive’s friends and then it all goes from there.
It has some of my all time FAVORITE tropes and, Olive, the main character is the cutest and nerdiest (in a good way) person ever and it’s a nice contrast to Adam’s personality. Idk I can go on for HOURS on how much I adore this book 🤩💗

it made me so happy to see The Silent Patient in one of these videos because it is honestly one of my absolute favourites. Although it is written for a more mature audience, I found it really easy to get into because the flow was amazing and the story kept me hooked throughout. I highy highly recommend!!!!!

My favourite book of this year was 'My Body' by Emily Ratajkowski, it's a raw and candid piece about her experiences in the modelling industry and the sexism and misogyny that women have to face on a daily basis. I felt seen and heard in this book whilst simultaneously empathised with her and realised my own sexist thoughts that were subconsciously there such as believing that beautiful women don't really have more to offer than their face (I'm so embarrassed by this lmao, but this has changed!! thanks to this book). I highly recommend it!!!

My #1 book recommendation is “velocity” by Dean Koontz!! It’s so fast-paced (like “one sitting” type of reading) yet detailed, and it’s the book that got me into reading again after yearssss of not due to school. I read it in like 4 days lol, it definitely leaves you thinking about it for some time.

Based on the books you've read so far (quite a few of which I've read before and really like), I think you would really like "Dear America, Notes from an Undocumented Citizen". It's a memoir by a Filipino immigrant who was brought to the US as a small kid. It goes through his sturggles to find a place in the United States and get citizenship.
