I have the perfect book recommendation for you: The Spectacular Now by Tim Tharp (it's a YA contemporary coming of age story) - the protagonist (Sutter Keeley) is this popular kid in high school whose main focus is partying. After being dumped by his girlfriend, he starts a relationship with this shy bookish girl (Aimee Finnecky). one of my main reasons for loving this book so much is that I found the portrayal of the fun loving party animal very realistic - especially when it came to how lost he felt after high school was over. it's a must read! oh and did I mention that there's a movie!!! 🤩💯
girl how did you read my mind? i wanted to expand my tbr and this video came out at the best time for me. thank you for the recs!!! current read: vines by brynne asher (attempting a reading vlog for this) next read: a little life by hanya yanagihara (i'm nervous because everyone i've seen who has read this has been destroyed by it so... that'll be fun)

STEPH YOU HAVE TO READ WHERE THE CRAWDADS SING!! it’s absolutely perfect and i love it so much!!
Steph! You have to watch Through My Window on Netflix! It’s a book adaptation that literally just came out last week. The book is great, I would like to know your opinion on it, and the movie as well of course!
steph girl… i am BEGGING you to do a reading vlog for my policeman!! it’s so so good, especially since you can imagine harry, emma, and david as their characters. i cant wait to see you read it bc it was honestly one of my favorite books!!
Where the crawdads sing and Daisy Jones and The Six are two of my favorite books!! Can’t wait for the movies
One of us is lying the show is not that good. The book is actually really good! I do recommend it. There’s a couple that you are for sure gonna fall in love with.
I've only watched the free episodes, but when I first saw the trailer I was kind of disappointed with who they casted for as Nate.
Steph please do a reading vlog of my policeman. I really liked the book but Tom (Harry's character is not really likeable) and i can't imagine not liking Harry Styles!!
Yes you should watch the Hating Game if you didn't already. I actually watched it twice! I can't say which one I prefer (book or movie). Love them both!
YES!! READ WHERE THE CRAWDADS SING OMG ITS SO GOOD!!! the only thing about the book is i felt like the ending was pretty predictable and almost kinda rushed but yeah other than that it was amazing!!
Can you give me a one or two line description of it? I've been wanting to read it for a long time but i just couldn't understand what it was about or find anything that would hook me.
When she posts it makes my day. 💕 all of these books are sooo good and all on my tbr lol
For a book set in Brighton I would recommend Beautiful Broken Things by Sara Barnard. it's an incredible book 😍📚
i knew about most of these but THE SUMMER I TURNED PRETTY SERIES!! middle school me is screaming, it was one of my favourite series when i was younger, so much better than when i read to all the boys i’ve loved before series. i gotta re-read forsure!! i gotta hop on the selection too!! but girl, i’m also so scared to watch the hating game movie, nothings worse than when you love a book and the movie is so insulting, you question whether or not you still like the book. mini series are so much more deserved. movies are far too rushed and changed for the plot to make sense a) in 1hr 30mins and b) for people who haven’t read the book. LOVE YOU STEPH🤍
I dont think I've been so early. But I'm so excited for these film adaptations!! Ugh I just hope It ends with us is as beautiful as the book but also doesn't stray away from the meaning of the book.
Please do a reading vlog of My Policeman!!! It's such a good book, would love to see your reaction!
little fires everywhere and sharp objects and big little lies are amazing adaptations! they're both mini series too
Olivie Blake’s ‘The Atlas Six’ is being turned into an Amazon series, I believe!
no way omg!!
About THE HATING GAME, I am crazy in love with the book and it lives in my head with royal protocol and after seeing THE MOVIE, I was like okay this is not that bad, I can easily live with two versions of the same story, it wasn't a total waste of time.
one of us is lying is SOOO good you would love! also anxious people by fredrik bachman is a miniseries on netflix now!
Vampire academy by Richelle Mead is getting adapted into a TV series! They have already started filming. Very excited to see how that is gonna turn out✨
Aww steph! So glad you are enjoying England. Your videos are being uploaded at the perfect time for me! I fell in love with Harry styles music last year and can't wait to see the policeman, deffo buying and reading this soon and picturing him too. Hope you enjoy the book!
YOU NEED TO DO A READING VLOG OF MY POLICEMAN OMGGG i just read that book recently and i was imagining Brighton the entire time and i neeeeed to see you read it on that pier that vlog would be so perfect
the way i love steph and her vids with a passion
Totally agree with you about It ends with us, literally I got so into it it broke me in the best way and I screamed when I heard you say it’s becoming a movieeee. I get so excited when they make movies from books even though the books are obviously betterrr!
Girl may I say you looked AMAZING at the brits 💘
I really hope I’m not the only one who is absolutely addicted to the selection? I’m in 6th grade and it’s literally one of my favorite book series ever. I full on simp for Maxon, lol. Love your vids, btw, Steph! Keep up the great work ❤️
Daisy Jones is still filming! I keep getting casting calls for it! But totally thought of you when I saw the emails.
girl how did you read my mind? i wanted to expand my tbr and this video came out at the best time for me. thank you for the recs!!!
current read: vines by brynne asher (attempting a reading vlog for this)
next read: a little life by hanya yanagihara (i'm nervous because everyone i've seen who has read this has been destroyed by it so... that'll be fun)
i just ordered the summer i turned pretty, and i can't wait to read it! i'm gonna make sure to finish it before the movie comes out
OMG You should do a vid on books that are best to read on VACA!!!! SPRING BREAK IS COMING UP!!!!! it’d be perfect!
please do a reading vlog with where the crawdads sing. You'll love this book so much. it's a 5 star read... and get tissues, you'll need it.
'conversations with friends' comes out in may, as a mini-serie made by the same team as 'normal people' !!!
