i work at a pizza place myself, and so much as tampering with food (like puttng any bodily fluids, or especially putting known allergens) would constitute a federal offense. im sure its mostly because we are a commercial entity that gives food to lots of people, but if i were in his position id definitely see about pursuing charges to the FULLEST extent of the law
I guess the mom has read from somewhere on the internet that allergies can go away and has brainwashed father into it as well... She needs to understand that yes, they can go away, but then it is up to the person who has allergies to control the exposure to the allergens. Some of allergies do not go away and some can even go worse as well, that is why people do not want to test if they have disappeared or not, it is not worth the risk if you are severely allergic to something. If it is just runny nose or itching eyes and just a discomfort then as a allergic person I can go outside in spring/early summer, but I would get away from specific plant pollen if I feel like allergy has not disappeared. It is not like someone is forcing me to run through park and smell every plant. It has to be my control on what exposure I can or can not have. Over years I can tell that my allergies have gone better. I have less of issues with pollen, but until I was 12 year old I did not have them. So they appeared from nowhere and now they cause me discomfort for quarter of the year or when I have to go through duty-free shops in airports (due to some specific perfumes). The mother should not test with foods just because she has read from alternative medicine sites that you can get person used to discomfort of minor allergy...

I know this is an older post, but I’m binging on rSlash lately. My mom was entitled, but instead of yelling in front of others (she saved that for when we were alone) she would be the “poor martyr” in public. Pretty effective I must say. As an example, when I was 16-17 I had a raging kidney infection. We didn’t go to the doctor much because it was “too expensive” and when we did she got someone else to pay, but she always had new clothes, perfumes, hair appointments, etc. Anyway, I’m in severe pain at night and her comment was “is it worth the $50 ER bill we’d have to spend?” I said no and suffered it out until the next day. I went to the doctor the next day, feeling like crap, and when the nurse saw my UA (lots of blood and particles) she said they didn’t even have to test it, I was sick. I felt vindicated, but then my mom said the meds and doctor bill meant we weren’t able to pay bills. *sigh*

TIP: Whenever encountering an EP, check for any proof (surveillance, YOUR permit to keep something, a receipt, etc.), let THEM do the assaulting, and let THEM do the talking first to anyone, and when the cops are called, she will lie to them, and you will have proof. You can press charges for theft (if possible), fraud (most likely), and assault (because apparently YOU did everything wrong and she has the freaking RIGHT to be ‘upset’ at you, and she hits you or does something else to assault you, making it easier to steal. *KEEP IN MIND THAT THEFT AND ASSAULT ALMOST CERTAINLY COME HAND IN HAND, AS THE EP WILL TRY STEALING, ASSAULT, AND TRY STEALING AGAIN.*) Press charges if need be, sometimes if the EP is a real jerk, but try making them more upset than they made you if you wanna press charges. Best of luck to you, and stay calm when encountering the surprised pikachu face that every EP will make.

Every time I see one of these entitled parents stories, it comes to child abuse. Intentionally giving your allergic child something they’re allergic to is POISONING, which would be a crime even if they weren’t endangering a child. Leaving your child somewhere without clear plans to have them attended is abandonment. These people need to be charged, and at the very least have their children removed from them so they can be protected from this kind of narcissistic behavior.
Nah I've seen cops jump to conclusions and arrest people before looking to evidence after the person arrested is taken into a squad car. They do it because they want to have the situation under complete control before looking for any form of evidence just incase the accused tries to do anything that can harm anyone.

And in the end I would just like to point you to the Louis CK's famous bit: "My neighbor George". It's a story about a confrontation between Louis and his neighbor in a new apartment building he has just moved into.
@@Gaaxure I take these with a grain of salt. Yeah, it could have happened, but theres obviously some doubt. Just wanted to say. Now then...
Assuming this happened, the friend could have been guarding OP's purchase. It might not have been mentioned because OP didnt see that, or forgot it as a detail. Friend also backed up OP with the cops, but was shut down.
Yes, the manager could have been that fucking dumb because of the severity of accusations. When it comes to children, people wouldn't want to take that risk, especially if its a shitty manager like this. On top of that, its a woman. Of course they believe her.
And yes, the cops handled it poorly. Theres no shortage of cops like that. They handle things poorly and get off with a slap on the wrist. Once surveillance was brought to light, they had to do their jobs properly to make up for the damage they did.
In such a chaotic situation involving children, it would be normal for a retail manager to panic and for cops to want to immediately take the accused away. It could simply be a chaotic situation that wasnt handled properly.
Doctor: gives list of things op is allergic 2
EM: THAT SIGN WONT STOP ME BECAUSE I CANT READ!

OP should press charges on his mom for basically poisoning him.
Not just press charges on her for poisoning, but attempted murder, and the father for being complacent with what the mother was doing.
The em is gonna be burning in hell
i work at a pizza place myself, and so much as tampering with food (like puttng any bodily fluids, or especially putting known allergens) would constitute a federal offense. im sure its mostly because we are a commercial entity that gives food to lots of people, but if i were in his position id definitely see about pursuing charges to the FULLEST extent of the law
@@krisavi No, no, no. Specific allergies on the deadly level like the OP ones do not go away.
And purposefully tricking someone you KNOW if allergic to something on a deadly scale is, in fact, attempted murder.
I would know this because I am allergic to wasps and got in a case where a summer camp retarded guardian purposely threw wasps at me. I got stung, To to the hospital and survived.
The camp lawyers or whoever wanted to settle that out of court for money + get rid of that guardian but our lawyer toled us and them that, since it was attempted murder at this point, he wasn't legally allowed to settle it in out of court.

She firmly believes that if she exposes me to more seafood I will become immune. She doesn't believe me when I tell her that's not how it works.
Wth, does she think it works like vaccines??
