Lads, I started watching your videos around 2012 and I thought you were the absolute bollocks. I even got some of my mates to start watching. Quest for a Twenty was the film that really kick started my interest in fishing for more than just small roach and perch on the float and your Chub and Barbel fishing on the Sussex Ouse then caused me to expand my interest on to the rivers. Honestly you should be proud of those old films because you've been inspiring anglers since the very beginning. Big ups to you both, stay safe and continue doing what you're doing as we love it 💪👌

Watching this vid of a decade ago and then watching one of your vids of today really shows how much you have learnt and progressed. In my humble opinion you two produce by far the most interesting and the best quality and content of all the fishing vids.
Being a new subscriber and enjoying your content it was a real treat to see the younger lads from 10 yrs ago learning their craft, enjoying fishing and family. Being a senior citizen (62) I fully understand how watching something you said or did years ago can be embarrassing but believe me as time goes by you'll look at those days quite differently than now. Fishing is still allowed, but i dont like to go to the commercial lakes where its very busy, i usually go down to my local creek where im all alone. This also insures i cannot give or get the coronavirus to/from anyone else. On a usual fishing day i might run into 2 hikers max
Love the video and we all have to start somewhere to be successful in life. I am looking back at my old videos and laughing about how cheesy they were. But at the same time looking at how much I have grown over the years and how much better quality my videos are now today. Thanks for the uplifting encouragement to be successful in life. really cool footage from the early days, the underwater footage i think is brilliant, a camera on the end of a bank stick, simple...but some amazing footage of the carp coming into feed on the baits. please please do a new series with loads of camping, underwater footage , and more adventures. keep up the awesome work, keep safe guys. thanks for sharing

I actually really enjoy the early videos you guys made, they remind me of when I was a kid fishing my local park with my friends. I find the early videos to be quite reminiscent of the early John Wilson TV shows, no doubt you took alot of inspiration from those and it shows in your editing and choice of music. We used to live together years ago and it was brilliant, and we have been fishing partners since we were about 7 or 8 (we are now 37 and 38). Don't see anything embarrassing at all about landing fish that size at that age! Out in the fresh air enjoying life and making great videos. I've been referring to some of your tutorial videos on rod setups. Hopefully one day me and my lads can pull in a few giants!. Really enjoying the fishing 😁
