This was my very first attempt at tessellated origami. Both making the grid and the design! It took 10 hours but I did it, thank you so much for posting your design to follow! I love it.
i just got into origami tessellationsand you have a great channel filled with all sorts of patterns! Lovely work and happyfolding :) I had a lot of fun folding this specific model with my friend!!
Here’s a tutorial on square grid folding from EZOrigami: ruclips.net/video/zquopdQSuuo/видео.html This design needs a 16 division grid with 32 diagonal divisions. Folding diagonal divisions is the same process. It takes a lot of practice to get them really accurate. 👍
Where do you buy your paper? On amazon I can't find standard bicolored kami, or I find it, it's just the full colored one. Where do you get the gradient paper that you use in a lot of your designs?
It is definitely difficult! I have put in a lot of hours practice with tiny grids and it got easier over time. Check out my Instagram for a collection of my tessellations.
It is absolutely unacceptable to make a tutorial like this! It took few hours to reach the moment where you just stop showing what you are doing! It is outrageous to loose someone's time like that! If you want to make a tutorial than plan it and do it with patience! If you don't have the time or will than don't loose other people time as well! VERY DISSAPOINTED!!!
Will you take a breath and look at what you are saying and how you are saying it. “Absolutely unacceptable”?? How many views are there on this video? How many people have folded it successfully? This is not a beginner’s tutorial. I am not a paid teacher for you. Anything I share is with the aim of giving “some” guidance to people wanting to learn. Are you going to get it every time? No. You want me to plan better? How about you do some further practice, perfect the base techniques, and exercise the level of patience this type of folding requires, before you have a whinge to me about your troubles. I am doing this for fun. For free.

What a choice for your first tessellation!
Great work 🔥

Starts like a tutorial, ends like a speedrun. 😂
@@tulkadevilson3565 😂 Made it there faster than expected!

Beautiful 😍😍

The gradient paper is called Harmony print from Grimmhobby. I have got it from Amazon before but it can be bought at a few places online.
What is exact name of paper
Great video btw
Great one! Thanks! Looks that the kids scared you 😋
She actually did!! The bit just after I muted was me saying that she scared the heck out me! 😂
Please upload more difficult tutorials
Great tutorial thank you😀👍🏻
Can you please make a tutorial on a 2x2 hydrangea tessellation with a clover centre
Possibly Pratyush Girdher. Could you send me a picture of what you mean on my Instagram or email: Origami.by.e@gmail.com
@@origami.by.e9415 OMG you actually replied . I will send you the photo through instagram .
I recorded the tutorial late last night Pratyush Girdher and it’s ready to watch 😃
So cool🥰🥰
slow down! what's the rush?
No rush in particular. This is my relaxed speed, I suppose.
I don’t have a lot of time in my hands so I just record these tutorials when I can.
@@origami.by.e9415 Ok. sorry for the late reply
great tutorial although its too fast and sometimes your hand blocks the paper but i managed to make it😉😉😉
Paper type and dimensions?
I used 15cm kami paper - it’s standard origami paper, coloured on one side. 👍
@@origami.by.e9415 ty soo much, wasnt it difficult to fold with smaller paper like this?
15cm is the largest paper I usually use! I like to fold these tessellations from 7.5cm paper but it’s not big enough to use for a tutorial.
@@origami.by.e9415 wow, you must be quite the experienced folder, its often harder for me to make larger grids on small paper

Wow

(11:34 até 16:20) não estou conseguindo fazer essa parte, me ajuda por favor
Consegui
Design is good but your doesnt look like tutorial. You are doing so fast to make it hard to make.
ashwin ganvir Best to practice the hydrangea and clover designs first I would say.
E
Mate you do complicated folds too fast 😭😭. Loved it though! - E
Baddddddd
To fast
Why
What is in the corner
Why so hard
@@water102f1 Because it is a difficult tessellation that requires a fair bit of practice to get comfortable with the techniques.

Too much flipping, a bit hard to follow.
It took me longer time to finish.
