Mr Nick, I would like to commend you on a dang fine job sir! You definitely have helped to ease my anxiety for doing this same replacement coming up. The whole water pump behind the timing cover on a longitudinally mounted engine just got me a bit nervous. One question though, do you use steel wool, fine sand paper, or emory pad to clean your gasket surfaces?
