Great video my man. You did it the right way and it came out really sharp. Nice job editing also, good use of time lapse. I hope you get a ton of views!
Thanks for your video. I wanted to do my truck rails like yours. 👍 looks good. I'm planning on placing a rubber matt on my bed since I read your response about durability. You've been very helpful thank you sir! 🤟🙌
I've been thinking about doing a plastic bed rail to be honest, seems to be the best option for protection. The rubber mat is a good idea. Best of luck!
Huge thanks for taking the time to make and post the vid. Exactly what I was looking for. Seems like the HF brand is just as good as any other, so (for a whopping $50), I'm gonna give it a try.
My only advice is go way thicker than I did. The 2 coats isnt nearly thick enough and it chips pretty easily. I'd go 5 or 6 honestly, at least for the floor surface
@@AllThingsBoost Thanks for responding! Anything particular you dont like? Looking to use it on my motorcycle cycle trailer since it spends most of its time outside.
@@amp2345 after a year and a half it's faded to a chalky grey, and it flakes and chips with impacts, it doesnt have any absorption for shock like a thicker bedliner would.
Nice video should do a torture test where you throw random things at your bed like a chevy commercial. I want to see how that bed liner holds up against a furby at 40mph
Not great. I'm going to try raptor liner next time around and go thicker. I've only used my bed lightly and anytime something rubs it will chip away pretty easily.
Thanks for the reminder. Honestly, not great. I stuck my floor jack on the bed, just normal transporting of things, and any parts that contact the bed just rub the liner away pretty easily. I've touched it up a few times just to keep it looking ok. It feels solid to the touch, and my fingers can't scratch it but any form of bare metal just eats through it. If you want it for actual protection, better look for another brand of bed liner.

Perfect Video ... No BS!!! Great job too. Looks Awesome!!!

I'm suprised one gallon was enough that's not bad!

noice noice, it needed that, also love the music
Thanks man! Been trying out different stuff
Looks good feller, let us know how it holds up
Honestly not great lol. Guess in the end you do get what you pay for
Good work!
How is it holding up?
Ok for the price. But I wouldn't recommend it honestly, go for raptor liner or something higher quality

Alan Sharp haha a furby? You sir, know how to comment.
If you want some texture ad some sand to it wont hurt it..true story
could you spray paint a color (purple) over the top and clear coat?! curious if it would adhere.
🤷♂️
Texture roller from autopart store
Any way to create more texture?
Use a different brand? I'm not a fan of this stuff at all after having it for a few years
@@AllThingsBoost thanks for the advice
You think I could use this for undercoating?
If you cleaned up the frame really well probably, but I'm not sure it'd be worth it. Maybe look into por15, I've heard it's a really good undercoating
Better off just using undercoating paint feller
I swear, this place looks like Scholfield barracks.
Never been there, this was out at Pensacola

How much product did you end up using?
Honestly I wouldn't recommend, didnt hold up great, but I used the whole can for 2 bed coats
A Wagner sprayer would paint that
