      The craze of cricket is ultimately reduces outside india. The main reason is t20 format, icc not giving chance to more countries to play, reducing boundaries length and many rules against bowlers. If u see today's cricket the monster teams like australia, south africa, west indies, srilanka, pakistan etc are fail to producing quality players. Competiton just killed in cricket by icc.

    Waqar was a very dangerous bowler . He could do anything, anytime. I believe it was either Waqar or Shoaib who had a back injury unfortunately. Waqar was a treat to watch and the Pakistani bowling was very powerful for any opponent. Respects.

    I played Gully cricket who rose up to play district level but with typical Indian parents averse to sports as it impacts studies could not pursue dream or love for cricket. Anyway the little I played I was decent in batting and fielding but not strong in bowling. This was the time, I tried many ways to improve bowling and I modeled my action around Waqar Younis. I would not say, I had full control but I naturally acquired the outswinger. The joy of getting wickets in the slip cordon with a round arm action like Waqar personally made me very happy but my utility to play cricket was modelled on Zimbabwe's Neil Johnson who opened the bat (was good in it, so was fielding) but Waqar in me never went away. Like Waqar, I also tend to get hit a lot but damm the action is modelled to attack and never defensive and that to me was Waqar and I was the Waqar of Gully cricket.

    • @Kashif314
      @Kashif314 4 года назад +1

      @@ArisenalphA you do know how lethal his pace was in general right? Don't just base your judgement on this match alone and calling names to any player is wrong but you must understand that India has never produced even one fast bowler in history of cricket and you have the highest number of population among all cricket playing nations. While Pakistan has full fast pacers in abundance in clubs even. Just saying.

    • @ArisenalphA
      @ArisenalphA 4 года назад +3

      kashif naveed dude you need to learn alot in cricket, first as commentators said 138 was his fastest so he wasnt really bowling “lethal” pace. Second you should learn indian pitches and climate arent really a fast bowlers heaven thus india produces swing/spin bowlers in heaps with a few exceptions. Thirdly, excess population doesnt help creating a quality environment for players and selectors cuz in the end only 11 players are getting a game and rest is a clusterfuck of unnecessary competition and headache to fill the spot which creates stress amongst players and selectors while using excess resources as well as inviting corruption cuz everyone has a dream to play for india. I dont give a shit about other matches as i just watched the video and saw this overrated comment about his pace. his pace was below 138 whole day just hear what commentators are saying your “lethal pace” comment just doesnt fit here bud. just saying my a$$.

    • @Kashif314
      @Kashif314 4 года назад +2

      @@ArisenalphA I understand what you mean but that's not an over rated comment. About your reply. Pakistan has the same kind of batting and bowling conditions like India. They are identical but Pakistan always produced lethal fast bowlers and some of the best spinners including Saqlain Mushtaq the inventor of Doosra. And population does matter because you have a luxury to groom players when you have them available in abundance. I don't have anything against India. Indian batting has always been far superior to Pakistan. Your cricket is free from politics. Pakistan has a worst cricket board that is full of corruption. You just need to look at facts with open mind instead of favouring your country. You say me I have less knowledge of cricket. Yes I may have less knowledge of cricket but I have seen the golden era of cricket from the 90s. I have seen Wasim and Waqar demolishing everything that stands in their way on FULL FLAT wickets. You must accept that India never has been superior in bowling Department than Pakistan just as Pakistan is never superior in batting Department than India.

    • @ArisenalphA

      kashif naveed don’t compare india with pakistan man whenever the big occasions come you go home losing, 0 wins in WC. plus india is doing pretty well without those “full fast pacers” kid are you 12?
