16 Multihulls in the RWYC Triangle Race 2024

It's the shakedown race weekend that the 16 MOCRA multihulls and their crews have been waiting for the whole, long, wet winter. For most it proved to be just what they'd been dreaming of: great sailing along a beautiful but unpredictable coast, lots of multihull talk at the evening social events, and a good look at the new boats on the scene.
16 boats altogether, some from as far as the East Coast, though not all in every leg of the three day hop down the coast and back from Plymouth - Falmouth - Fowey - Plymouth. For at least three of those boats it was their first race with new owners and for some, the first sail. For one crew member on D-1 it was his first ever sail, brave man!
The Royal Western Yacht Club Triangle Race remains a firm favourite and a perfect way to start the season.
Thanks also to the MOCRA organisers, Royal Cornwall Yacht Club and the Royal Fowey for hosting the prize giving and dinners.
