Got the same mirrors on my Duramax and they're amazing! BTW, the rattle can color match looks really good!
I just recently bought a 09 Silverado. I’ve never been a fan of these towing mirrors on 1500 models but it actually looks good. Might buy some now.
Nice video, FYI to make it easier next time (if there is a next time) you replace mirrors roll down the window before hand to make it easier to uninstall/install the mirrors......

Oh yeah definitely one of the best mods. I absolutely love the boost auto tow mirrors, the quality is amazing! That’s awesome you got them “fully loaded” that’s what I am doing too I absolutely love the switchbacks and the high output LEDs will make backing my trailer up at night SO much easier! And I cannot stand mirrors without auto dimming & power adj. Plus living on the east coast heated mirrors is a must. I mean if you want to use them anyways lol.. Great video though your trucks looking great!

That’s a mod I did about a month ago for my 2017 Silverado. I aswell got my mirrors from boost auto great company only thing I have not done yet is get the wiring to make my blinker indicators functional. Great vid bud!! Texas4ever

Brake fluid only gets low for 2 reasons: low brake pads or a leak. If the pads are still good then you’ll have to scan the brake lines and if those are good, there might be a leaking wheel cylinder

Only the small mirrors this bodystyle have the power folding option. Nobody makes a tow mirror for these trucks with the power folding option.
Justin Sills True I was looking at the newer trucks options. Boosts website says if you want power fold its additional $350.

Low brake fluid, your hydra vac is going bad. Same happened to me. The brake fluid is leaking into your hydra vac. Great Videos BTW.

You know, I commented on your ig post disliking the tow mirrors. But knowing it’s from boost auto parts. And seeing that it’s the nice new ones with those spot lights. I forgive you lol jk looks bad ass I just personally think the view of the tall glass isn’t as well as the standard but it looks good
Chad!! They look great Buddha! Watched this video a few times now trying to decide if I should go ahead and purchase for my07.5 in dark Ming blue.. do they rattle at all? Anyone else have these and know if you get any noise or rattling from them? My old tow mirrors rattled and it drove me nuts!
If you hawl big trailers their probably very good. Not sure if i would put them on mine. Maybe a shorter version. Vision is prob waaay better than original. I have to adjust up and down when parking as i cant see the parking lines on the ground on normal mirror position.
You need switchbacks in your head lights. Mirrors look awesome.

When you did your mirror caps when the paint dried before the clear, did it look faded?

Use SprayMax 2K Clear for a perfect / near perfect finish
i have similar mirrors and have no idea what to wire the black and white wire for LED back up lights into. everything else plugged into stock harness and the wires i was given arent long enough to go to the fuse pannel so i assume i have to splice them into the harness into the door, which wires would i splice with? i have an identical truck to yours except mines a 4 door and an 09

There's also a fuse panel on the driver side dash. I'd look for something that gets power with your cargo lamp or something that switches on when you put the truck in reverse.
If I don't know jack about wiring... is this doable? :P

When you put the new style key fob how did you do it or have you done it because i have the same truck as yours but 4x4 crew cab :P lt and it doesn't have the learn option
is it just me or do these mirrors have a pre set position. driverside is out farther then the passenger side???
How bad do they shake? All my non OEM tow mirrors seem to have a pretty noticeable shake on the highway
Did your stock mirrors have the turn signals built into them? I'm trying to get tow mirrors for my truck but mine don't have any options like the heated mirrors, turn signals, or ect. on them. Just trying to figure it out! Thanks for any help!
No lights in the stock mirrors, no heat etc... Boost Auto makes the wiring on these mirrors/lights super simple

My spot lights only go on if I turn off my headlights. Do you have any idea why this might be happening?
Also, my Amber’s on the front of the mirrors do not go on when my headlights are on, only with blinkers. HELP!
