Best thing I did for my 70 Eliminator with a 315C was to follow the last video. I had my original brass 24” radiator re cored with another 4 row, then bought the fan, fan clutch and shroud from WCCC. It is a freshly rebuilt 351C and runs cool even in 100 degree heat! I will be starting on rebuilding my 70 XR-7 Convertible soon and will do that same thing again!
I have never had a 351C run so cool!

Also, I have AC and a little warmed up cam on thinner cyl walls! Don has figured out the secret sauce!

    Love Cougars!
Three core radiator, and a thermostat solved my cooling issues, but it’s a small block.

We have bought many items for our 1968 Cougar from this company. They are an excellent company.

On my 1969 Mach1 390 4 speed a/c, I had the 24” radiator re-cored locally to a 4-core. I never have the needle pass the half way mark. And I run the car in the summer here in Miami!!

Paint the aluminum radiators with SPI satin black epoxy and it looks a lot more factory.

Hello. My name is Tyrell. I have purchased two 351C core engines from you in years past. I need another plus a good 289/302 engine core. Do you have either engines to sell? The 289 is for a Sunbeam Tiger I have owned for 30+ years . I have stored it in an old barn at the back of my property and want to put it back on the road. Thank you for your time. P.S. I found the parts for the power booster I sold you.

What can I do for my '71? Running stock 3-core 26" rad, belt driven fan, shoud and correct 185F Clevelnd t-stat. Still running hotter than I'd like on relatively warm days. Hot days it is past midway on the gauge.

The modified restrictor plate does well with the overheating problems on the Clevelands. Our item 53234 (out of stock but on order). have a look at the listing on our site.
