JAJAJAJAJA all of these rules makes me feel not alone, I thought my orff classroom was the only messy one and my constant reminders to the children about these rules was just me
THANK YOU for this video! I'm using it to introduce expectations before we begin playing instruments. This is my first time teaching with Orff instruments so it helped me know what to emphasize for my students!
I was getting ready to create my own video of this & then stumbled upon yours. Absolutely PERFECT!!!! Thank you for sharing! I've show it to ALL of my kiddos (K-5).
Haha, I've shown this to fourteen different K and 2nd grade classes, and most of the kids can't believe that adults would behave so badly! "Wow! Those grown-ups don't know how to treat those instruments! I can do better than that!"
Mauricio Barrera: the large wooden instruments are xylophones, the large metal instruments are metallophones, and the small metal instruments are glockenspiels.

Thank you. We have very similar rules for our instruments, so this will give me a new platform to review them.
THIS IS BRILLIANT!
I watched this video in my music class today and on the don'ts when they say "ew" I said "ew Absolutely disgusting" every time as a joke
My students love this video so much they keep asking me to play it again. I remind them that we won't have time to play. :-)
