cheers guys for all the great gigs up in the north east of scotland seen you at the wizzard with my son on shoulders tim gave him a wave how cool im so jealous sweet tune
@miravalonia i felt same at first time... but then.. you should see the good part and this is that they change everytime and i think that is the best part of them
Ha, Magenta Devine, brilliant. Uncanny. I'm by no means a devout fan, but I like em and always have but what I'm liking at the moment is their ability to change, just when you think they're going down a certain route they'll switch direction. Good on em, this melody reminds me of late 60's Beach Boys but with a Northern rhythm, nice.
@nelsonr32 There's no way every Oasis album sounds the same, maybe the first few but Don't believe the truth & Dig out Your Soul were different & very cool. Good to see/hear the Chalatans still on top form.
@lencargill i feel so shit but charlatans were a band that got better with every album even up to Wonderland but your right the last couple of albums have been disapoingting at best and some albums you had to listen to a good few times before you realized the genius of the particular album but no matter how many times you listen to this song its not exactly a grower and i am a huge charlatans fan.
This one sounds a bit like an old REM track called Romance. Don't know if it intentionally inspired by it or probably just a coincidence. Both great songs.
@Crimendorsement its pretty hard for a band to keep pulling out great albums for so long they did it right up to wonderland, fuck even the stones started drying up after 12 15 years and could only pull out the odd dececent song same as the charlatans, if you know of a more cosistent band whose every album is great let us know but i agree this is shit and im a fan
actualy i'm in love with his jumpers...
Proper Northern Soul beat to it,Love it.
Tres certainement un des meilleurs groupes de ces 20 dernieres années avec Supergrass tous les deux largement sous estimés
I love this song, I can't stop listen to it and I will play it once again right now!
7 years later and I still am
The Charlatans, un sentimiento!

Reminds me of this tune..
Everly Brothers - Don't Worry Baby.
i call this music, the best music. also, i love what he wears, converse, glasses, jumpers, jeans- my style.

Yeah, absolute amazing tune but what on EARTH was he thinkin' with that bleedin' jumper!!

Album track at best
@CamillaLopez87. It's in the album cover

There is also a Human League song melody in there anyone help me?
Open your heart?
😁
THAT jumper! Why?!
I think that for some people it's hard to understand we are not in the 90's anymore...
Great song shame about the jumper
It's just too heavy on pitch correction to be listenable.
This has such charm, and yet its kind of shit isn't it? Somehow I really quite like it.
Is he wearing a wig? Looks like Roy Orbison & Joey Ramone's Love Child.
@TheAlbionSailor. Too right. The Charlatans are about evolution, if you want the same stuff every album go and listen to Oasis.
Does anyone have any idea of the guitar tab for this?
This is a the sad inevitability of how an group of young, brash innovators can...over a great deal of time...become simply...Adult Contemporary.

a charlies jumper bend down i could get that shyshan from a skip 4 34p keith
38 likes? really? :/
i hate the charlatans.
they write music exactly as my mood.
the funny thing is that, even that this songs are new, they bring memories to my mind.
the miming in this video is beyond terrible
Don't you realize (evidently) that this was intended. The video was filmed in slo mo and so the vocals had to match which they did.
@Crimendorsement ...another man who goes completely out of the rails.... prey jesus prey for them...
