Rediscovering The Charlatans, I saw them in the 90's at Manchester Academy. In the middle of Tim's first book as well. Love this song and video, brilliant!!
This is just the perfect pop song for a sunny day. I bought it on a 7" single when it came out, but the hole is slightly off-centre so the pitch is a bit unstable! Nice to be able to listen to it here.

The Charlatans had so much sensitivity and wrote some gentle songs. Wonderful smiths and at times dynamic.
The perfect band, drums, guitar, keyboard and bass , vocals topped by great songs.
This song was around the time of my uncle's passing...despite that dark day, this song is incredibly underrated
