Love Daryl Jones!!! He is so humble and cool, literally cool, on stage, love the amazing groove he puts down on the San Jose 1999 show in Jumping Jones (!) Flash, following the main riff, before landing it in the last refrain with a rock-bottom deep groove, keeping the song steady with balast while the piano-guy plays hammon organ or whatever the Deep Purple sound is calles. For me there will never be anything like the Stones in their 60s, early 70s line-up, but Darryl Jones and now Steve Jordan surely "updated" and re-energised the band. I think it was the right time for those changes.
